Best KPortal Reviews
Food was great, plentiful, and good value but there was no one else eating and only a couple at the bar on Friday lunchtime. So zero atmosphere. They need to promote the pub, at the very least, revive their website. There's huge potential for them as the only pub in this thriving village.
A hidden gem. Always busy, great selection of drinks, good prices and a real friendly ‘local’ atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and happy to chat. The only let down is the food which is consistently wrong for this type of pub. The Italian restaurant was completely wrong for this type of beautiful country pub and now they are back to a pub menu but the quality is poor. Not fresh. Lamb shanks seem to be the vacuum packed cash and carry specials (filled with additives so they don’t even need to be refridgerated), microwaved pre made cauliflower cheese and just generally bland. In an area which is rural you would expect high quality ingredients and home made, albeit I appreciate staffing and prices influence this. If they were to keep the same menu but use fresh local produce and cook from scratch they would get customers from all over. It really could be something special. Having said that it is always busy so they must be doing something right!!
Lovely countryside pub with an authentic Italian style restaurant. The pizzas here are amazing and a real taste of Italy. Freshly cooked to order in their own wood fire pizza oven. Definitely worth a visit and very reasonable prices too
Stopped by for a pint but went for the cider as it was boiling hot day. Lovely traditional pub. Friendly service and attractive walled garden to the rear. Quiet village location. Definitely worth a visit.
Good drinks selection and affordable. Friendly bar staff, and a nicely reworked interior for this kind of period, listed pub building.
The food at Bebo al Forno is excellent. A wide variety of pizza options, delicious antipasto and the Nonna Cake is an absolute must have. Delicious! Real authentic Italian food prepared by a true Sicilian!
Really friendly and helpful. Dog friendly. Nice atmosphere. Food excellent. Will be going back. Next time walk from the campsite!
Delicious pizzas at a very reasonable price. All the staff were lovely too - highly recommend!
Lovely pub and staff. Fair prices. Very generous food portions. Too much veg, was a shame to see so much uneaten and wasted. Would have preferred sharper knife to cut up meal. Roast Beef looked cooked beautifully but unfortunately it was too gristly to cut or chew. Were offered no charge for one of the three inedible beef meals on our table.
