Lovely staff great service and lovely food. Meat and potato pie amazing don't have a starter if you order this unless you've a big appetite. Lovely menu, suggest booking, we went early Monday evening mid November and there were tables already booked and it was full inside by 7.30
Lovely experience dining here with my family. The food is delicious and all made fresh so wait times are slightly longer than average but it is absolutely worth it! I ordered the hake and it was wonderful. Staff are lovely and friendly too. Will be back next time we come to Spain!
Absolutely amazing food. Wonderful and attentive service. Can't recommend highly enough.
Food delicious and beautifully presented. Waiter friendly and attentive. Outside seating a bit basic but inside atmospheric. Can thoroughly recommend and will definitely be visiting there again
The Grove Restaurant is one of the best restaurants I have eaten in . Lovely food & a great selection, the staff are lovely especially Paco (not sure if it's spelled wright). I would highly recommend it
I have just had to delete my 5 star review that I gave this restaurant 11 months ago in order to post this 2 star review. Within the last 11 months I believe the restaurant has changed hands which has resulted in the overall dining experience dipping dramatically.
I always like to look at the menu on line before booking any restaurant in order to see if I like any of the food options they are offering. The menu looked fine but upon arrival we were informed a number of options were not available. The waitress actually said that two of the main course options had been off the menu for a couple of months, even though they were printed on the menu we were given at the table. The prawns in a garlic butter that we ordered arrived in a tomato sauce. Another disappointment was at 6pm on a Friday evening they only had 2 portions of duck liver pate left. There was no soup option either. The overall food quality in my opinion was average. Nothing like the experience we had enjoyed last year.
It is my understanding that all businesses in Spain must provide a customer service complaint form. The availability of this form should be advertised by the business by way of a poster. There was no poster or form available for us to provide our feedback and the owner who is the chef refused to come out and talk to us and hear our complaints directly. Instead he choose to. let his poor front of house staff take the flack. Needless to say we will not be going again.
Staff very helpful & food was excellent will go again, the restaurant is located amidst other bars so expect it to be a little noisy
