Always a great experience when we go here, the food has always been great but food service can sometimes be very slow even when there aren't any other customers there. But overall they have great food, a lot of TV's for sports and even have live music on the weekends.
Well I've heard a lot about this place and, I can tell you, it's Saturday night at 7pm, and I am at a SPORTS BAR!..
So I'm at a sports bar, on a Saturday night, during college football season, championship games are on, and there may be 10 people here...
***I'm not saying this badly towards the people that run this but, I'm saying this more for the customers experience, I would go to the one in Boaz
Usually don't complain about businesses, unless it's Gadsden Lowe's. My son & I ate lunch at The Gridiron today on my lunch hour. Only one waitress. I had to go find my to-go box. Had to eat food in a hurry. They seem to cater to the people at the bar, who obviously were just taking their time drinking Natty Lights all day. Also, the bill was way overpriced for 2 people.
Food not worth cost. It looks like they haven't spent any money on chairs, tables, stool or bar area since opened. Dive bar experience completely.
This place is way too expensive for their quality of food. The food is “okay.” If it wasn’t for the local drinkers, this place wouldn’t be open. Wouldn’t recommend going for the food. A sandwich is $11. Their website shows it as $6.99. The $11 sandwich doesn’t include a side. $18.34 for a sandwich and fries is beyond me! No drink!! lol.
Loaded baked potato was decent but please heat it longer in the microwave so it’s hot. Servers are doing what they can. Basic sports/dive bar.
My roommate and I went for a ride on the motorcycle just find find a new place to have for lunch. We were overly impressed with the quality of the food here and service. We will definitely make the trip back soon.
soo good...the food is great the staff is amazing ???? outta the park fries is my fave :)
