We stopped here on a cold, rainy and very windy day, looking for a hot drink and some cake and oh boy this place was great. The two ladies who run the cafe are lovely and bake some delicious treats. If they have it on the day you visit order a slice of the banana and chocolate loaf... Or maybe just the lemon drizzle cake. Both are fantastic. They have a small shop too full of pretty stuff to take home.

I love this place. This is just the second time I've been here, but there will be many more. The little shop has all manner of things to browse through and buy depending on what you're after: from greetings cards to things for the home. And the little cafe is superb too; the cakes are scrumptious and the hot chocolate I had today, considering it was cold and wet outside, was perfectly chocolatey, delicious and warming which was just what was needed. The service is friendly, quick and with a smile. Will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Inveraray!
Stopped off here for a coffee and a cake after visiting the Inveraray Jail around the corner. Good selection of cakes - I tried the chocolate and banana loaf which was nice. Cafe is a bit small so don’t necessarily expect to get a table. They could be a bit clearer about the opening hours as the Google listing doesn’t have any and neither does the shop so who knows when it closes!
In today ordered latte and carrot cake to go. When I was walking out I thought the coffee was light (in weight) not so strange when I discovered the cup was filled approximately 3/4 with foam. Turned and went straight back Into cafe to complain. The woman did not appear to appreciate my concern I would say reluctantly warmed some milk then pouring a small amount at a time asked me on each occasion if I was happy with the additional gesturing that I should pick up cup to see if I was satisfied. She made a final attempt at sarcasm as I was leaving I reminded her that I had paid for a cup of latte not of foam. Visitors be aware you may be paying for nothing more than frothy fresh air and the added attitude that its okay.
Popped in for lunch. Ordered a hot ciabatta tuna melt. The ciabatta served was warm on the outside but the cheese inside hadn't melted. Hardly a 'melt ' more a disappointment. Ate it as I was hungry but wouldn't recommend. Service was ok with polite staff
Nice Cafe und Kuchen place. Sadly they've lost the internal dining room and toilet facility. Good location but the whole town suffers from poor facilities like free parking and decent toilets.
Wonderful coffee and the best carrot cake I've ever had, and that's a lot.
