Best KPortal Reviews

I have to say that each time I have been here it gets better and better! The lobster roll…let me just tell you…the bread was perfectly toasted. The lettuce was fresh, and the lobster…wow! The chunks of lobster were so much and so big, some pieces took more than one bite! They definitely don’t skimp on the lobster! It was perfect! Simple, which I appreciate more because I want to taste the lobster, not a bunch of other seasonings and sauces! Our server was amazing! I know what I’m getting next time ????
Kid friendly - Yes. Booths available. Traditional Americana options: hot dog, chicken, fish, fries and Oreos. Drink. Can substitute.
As a family all from New England it's wonderful to find gems that offer classics. The fish here is good but basic batter or Cajun batter versa offering more diverse options. At least basket form. Lunch was this review and not busy at 1pm
Staples:
Clam Chowder - good flavors could benefit more content in the soup or we just got a liquid heavy pour.
Lobster roll - blended meat, mayo based. Good flavors. Classic buns. Not a stand out in region competition I'm Safety Harbor and food trucks.
Fish Basket - cooked well, great size with classic flavors. For Cajun batter it's not spicy by any standard. Bay scallops were cooked perfectly in neutral batter.
Hush puppies - Perfection!
Fried Green tomatoes - fun to see southeast adoption in Bostonian fare.
Overall this place is a great seafood staple in the area. We'll be keeping it on the list in our regular pilgrimage to the coast. Give them a try!
All the team was super friendly and accomodating.
We were recommended to go there during our trip. Tara at the bar was amazing and we felt like locals instead of tourists by the end of our meal. She was so patient, kind and awesome. Very knowledgeable about the drinks and meal. With me being Gluten free, she had recommendations and what to do to make me enjoy without getting sick. She even hooked us up with neat souvenir T shirts. Can't wait to move there and be able to go when we want!!

The Seafood casserole was so tasty, packed with scallops, fish and shrimp in a cream sauce. The sauce was really flavorful and NOT pasty like I've had at other places. The coleslaw was fresh. I did not like the fries as they were coated. My friend loved her sweet potato fries that came with maple syrup for dipping. Our waitress was really sweet.
12/18/2023 update - Still great!
Great seafood place in a small strip mall. Service was excellent, prices were reasonable and food was as ordered and delicious. We both had the crab and it was nice and clean.
Will definitely be returning.
Ordered take out, $65 for 2 dinners, salad and dessert, + tip... They called me 10 min after leaving restaurant to tell me they didn't bag the salad. This is becoming a HUGE issue in America, people in the service industry that either don't listen when ordering or not being detail oriented enough to complete the job before offering to customer. Do better...
My uncle took my family and I visiting him to this month to this restaurant tonight and it was honestly a bit underwhelming in my personal opinion. I had a bit of higher expectations on the food tonight being that I am eating, but it was just okay. I personally had better seafood in Florida from prior vacations, but this place wasn’t stellar. Food - yellow rice was way too salty and the green beans were more like average store bought can green beans. The scallops dinner I personally wanted a bit bigger and I would of paid a bit more for larger size scallops. The red snapper was tasty my family said. My uncle got the red snapper sandwich and he said it was a large portion size. Service- friendly, professional and super nice. Bathroom- my family lived the clean bathroom and great smelling soap. I would not recommend this place in my personal opinion.
Good, friendly service. The seafood is always served fresh and hot. Especially enjoy the AYCE shrimp on Mondays. Only negative was the special on 2 pounds of snow crab legs was served with a melted margarine/butter blend. We had to request drawn butter. Our server did an excellent job making it right.
