The Grennan was fantastic for our trip, great location only 20 min drive from the ferry and within walking distance to restaurants. The views from the room were absolutely fantastic. We received a very warm welcome. The room was a great size and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for your friendly service
Janis at the Greannan is so friendly, room was very large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Great views. A lovely place to stay. Only small down side was the mattress was a little soft as we are used to a firm mattress but ok for short stay. Would stay again.|||||||||
Myself and my partner stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding recently. They couldn't have been any more accommodating.

Beautiful views exactly as advertised. The host Janis was lovely as was everyone there. The breakfast looked to be quality produce. The room was clean and fresh. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.
Stayed four nights at this superb B & B at Blackwaterfoot on the west coast of the island. Janis was a wonderful host, friendly, knowledgeable and happy to answer an questions about life and attractions on the island. A clean, comfortable room with views over the surrounding countryside, excellent breakfast choices and close to the amenities in the village.
This was the final leg of our 3 week Scottish roast rip, and we definitely saved the best till last. Super friendly great breakfasts and lovely spacious rooms situated on the edge of Blackwaterfoot but only a 10 minute walk into the village. They provided Arran 'Sense of Scotland ' toiletries which ate lovely and coffee tea and biscuits were replenished daily . This was the best B&B we stayed in so would have no hesitation in recommending
Had a fantastic stay at the greannan to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Bedroom was beautiful with the best views of the sea from the comfiest bed ever! Janis and her family couldn't have been any nicer and welcoming from start to finish. Breakfast was amazing especially the morning after climbing goat fell. Will definitely return and highly recommend .
I doubt you will find a better BnB in Arran. Great location and wonderful room with superb views over the sea and hills - very spacious , spotlessly clean, lovely fluffy towels, hot shower and comfy bed. Breakfast was fantastic and really set you up for the day. Janis, Susan & Jess provide outstanding hospitality. They were thoughtful, kind, friendly and could not have been more generous or helpful. It totally merits its Trip Advisor reviews. Loved it as did my wee pooch, Jinty. Will definitely be back. Many thanks.
