Clientele from the surrounding area. . This is truly a pub where you will walk in a stranger , and leave with many friends and memories. Thank you so much for a wonderful time . I’m sitting here in my apartment in Astoria, Queens, New York, looking back and treasuring every single minute., Truly, looking forward to having another pint with you again soon. If you are ever in Stranraer Scotland ???????????????????????????? Stop into the ???? grapes ask for Sally , Sit back and smell the heather ????
As usual, the Grapes was great. Been there a few times over the years. Great selection of drinks, and someone always talks to you.
Just a proper pub, with proper service and proper ales. Happy days
This is the sort of pub that has long disappeared from the streets of many British towns and cities. A real local that serves good beer and offers civilised conversation for all customers, local or just passing through, as well as privacy for those who may prefer it. The two ales were very well kept and the establishment deserves its inclusion in Camera's Good Beer Guide.

Great bar, everyone is made welcome. The owner was great to our child. The bar staff could do the job with eyes closed, live music. Very friendly and inkeeping with what you would expect from a good auld Scottish bar. Well done!!
Me and my partner visited here with our lovely friends who live nearby, the staff were friendly, great guest ales on the tap, very reasonable prices, and a rich musical culture I would definitely visit again, .The staff were really friendly.
A nice traditional bar. Nothing fancy here but that's reflected in the low prices. Plenty of atmosphere and friendly customers.
