my boyfriend and I finally made it to Good Eats and it was so worth the wait! I ordered the sweet and spicy wings and he got the sweet chili flavor. I liked his better but the waffles were the star of the show. they were soft, moist and not too sweet. the mac and cheese was also fire. next time my boyfriend will be getting his own lol :-)

Excellent soul food (pricey) still I highly recommend.
The honey garlic wings are so good I've been back 4 times. The yams are also really good. The mac & cheese, sexy wings, meatballs and fried corn are just alright in my opinion. Waffles were my least favorite.
I've found ways to work around the slow service by ordering online. A few times my order has been ready earlier than the estimated time. I recommend calling to make sure they're open before going to the restaurant.
My husband and I were staying in Newark for the Dallas Cowboys game. I found this delicious place off of TikTok. We stopped in for lunch and the food was really good. There wasn’t a wait and food was made and served hot. We ordered the wing and shrimp combo and let me just say we weren’t disappointed. There was so much flavor, the Mac and cheese was creamy, corn on the cob had a butter sauce my goodness was it delicious. The fried jumbo shrimp had a crispy batter that was flavorful as well. The staff was super nice and talkative with us.
Food was literally a 2/10. The only reason it’s getting a 2 is because the shrimp was good. Other than it would’ve been a 0. Chicken wings are WAAAAAY too big for my liking. I only ate the flat pieces which were only 2 of them. I tried one of the drums and it tasted too meaty for my liking.. as if it wasn’t cleaned properly. Mac & Cheese was dry & undercooked. The place was packed but I ordered online so I didn’t have to deal with that. Honestly if you can’t handle a crowd to maintain consistency within the quality of your food .. you shouldn’t own a restaurant. Would not recommend! $30 down the drain.
As a food reviewer I am highly disappointed in the food I received today. Wings were decent but that ends there. Mac and cheese was dry, a day old with no seasoning, no lovin, no cheese hardly, no pull at all from seeing the videos on your IG. Yams had hard pieces with parsley flakes on top, not good. 21 dollars for dry stale Mac n cheese, yams and wings that were overcooked, grease taste burnt. Do better. Photos don’t lie. First time there, last time there. Can’t say nothing about the service or atmosphere since I ordered thru Ubereats.
So pissed I ordered for the first time today thru Uber eats I was in Elizabeth visiting and I got all this good looking food and couldn’t eat it it was so salty it was unbearable to eat. Anybody that know me know I cook and I eat and I love to explore eating at different establishments. This one right here terrible I also called to let them know and tried to get a refund the guy who didn’t give a name took my phone number and name and said they will call me back. I ordered around 3:30pm so whoever the cool lighten up on the salt or get out the kitchen! This when I got and what’s left.
I had their food last year and it was good. The food wasn’t giving like it was before. I don’t know if it was because they was closing or what. The shrimp and the meatballs was good and the salmon was alright however I did not like the mac and cheese, green beans or the yams. The mac and cheese had an artificial taste and the green beans was canned green beans.Plenty of people use the can but you got to dress it up to make it taste like something. The yams was dry and flavorless. Last but not least I found a hair on the foil where my food was at. I am really disappointed I would’ve called but they close right now. A waste of 92 dollars.
