Ordered a beef curry n fried rice and it was 10/10..! I was late ordering as it was nearly closing but the food was just perfect. It was delivered in about 15 mins by a friendly delivery man who even called to say he was at the door instead of knocking (as it was late) Good man.!!

Great little takeaway never had a problem with food even when it's been delivered but normally we pick up, lady who serves us is great such a happy friendly person
I ordered a takeaway meal from the Golden Wok and both my wife and I were sick and had stomach cramps. We've had several meals from the Golden Wok and it's always hit and miss, occasionally you can get a reasonable Chinese and then you get slop. The meal last night was the worst yet, It is crystal clear there isn't any care and pride in the food they serve. This meal had been cooked days ago, refrigerated and then microwaved and shipped out. The food they cook is never fresh. I love Chinese food and they have destroyed my love for the food. I'm sick of paying good money for shocking food. I've thrown away their menu and will never never never use them again. They are an absolute disgrace. I'd rather have a ham sandwich than subject myself to another meal from the Golden Wok.
Food is nice with some reasonable veggie options.
We ordered on the phone and picked up. The whole order was ready and waiting, piping hot.

It’s pricy for a Chinese but consistently fantastic, never had a bad Chinese, hope it stays like this. Staff are always really lovely on the phone too. Thank you :)
I have not had a Takeaway for sometime now.
But I always used this for a Chinese meal.
It is one of the best that I have ever used.
I must admit that I miss it.
So I think that I will try it again.

First time i ordered last night it was pretty late about 9.40ish food came withing 15minutes was nice and hot i had crispy shredded beef with egg fried rice was 10/10.. we used to get from GoldenBird but other week my 10 yr old niece found metal in her food complained had the money knocked off for our next Order for the order to only half come out so Golden wok gr8 first impression
