We put 4☆ for food, just because of availability of first choice vegetarian menu options (but told this was temporary with new opening); substitutions were dealt with very well.
We had three different meals and all excellent. Prices very good (especially offers & lunch menu).
We will definitely be back!
Came here 1 evening with my partner, lovely decor, warm greeting from staff.We chose a table in the back part of bar. Everything reasonably priced. He had Sirloin steak with all the trimmings, thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the House burger with bacon, egg & jalapeño, fries & salad. Amazing! best burger I've ever had. Excellent service. Friendly staff & value for money, what more could you ask for.
The food way very good value and really nice. Service was great, quick and friendly.
The atmosphere, nice decor and other guests made for a lovely mid week lunch.

First time in have to say thought it was great place great atmosphere very clean and great value for money. Can't wait to go back for a pint or two. Keep the good work up there.
Me & some friend's visited the pub on Friday 15th March. Even though this pub has been renovated, the layout to get to the toilets & the outside space was horrendous. It was absolutely heaving. People literally could not move. Trying to squeeze past everyone to attempt the only walkway for the toilet's & outdoor space. The doors caused people to block the area between the door to open for smoking area.
Seating in some of the area's indoors might need rethinking, especially for busier nights, plus needing more staff & security on the door due to some young lads causing a fight numerous times.
It was absolutely boiling in the pub, which didn't help matters. Queuing for nearly an hour to get served a drink each time was awful.
Alot of smashed glasses on the floor, the tables & even the bar was full of empty bottles/glasses. They really could have done with a set amount of people inside at all times & extra staff to clear the empties.
The concerns for everyone's health & safety that night were extremely high.
Just re opened under new management. Just what the Town Centre needed. Prices are good as are the beers. Very nicely refurbished and can't wait for the summer to try the beer garden.
2 Unfriendly staff members
When we had two members of staff from this pub turn up at my home at 8.50ish sunday morning mouthing off at my family member over a comment on facebook and making threats about going to my 70+ year old family member home who disabled . Disgusting staff tbh
Just what Cinderford needs! Finally a decent pub (and a really good one at that!) Excellent choice of draft beers, spirits and ciders and a refurbishment that would put most places to shame. A+++
