Got takeaway on Tuesday night. Chicken curry with fried rice was ok but not a lot of chicken. Wife got beef in plum sauce. Awful, translucent beef, chewy and flavourless. First & last visit!!
Nice food seemed a slight bit dearer than our normal Chinese but food was spot on also have gluten free egg fried rice
I can not comment on food as I never got that far!. I rang the shop to place an order, and I was informed "she" didn't understand me. I thought it might be easier if I just went to the shop to place my order in person. However, they got defensive. I was asked to point out my order on the menu, rather than speak. I found the attitude rude and humiliating; I've been living in the UK for nearly 14 years, and I am just about to start my PhD, and I was told to show what I wanted. No apologies and I was encouraged to leave the shop. If this is the customer service and then I have nothing to say.....
Delicious fresh food and excellent, friendly service.
I've used this takeaway numerous times and they've always made my food really quickly. The staff are very friendly and always take time to chat to you whilst you're waiting. The food is great and portion sizes are spot on. The Golden Earl is a great wee takeaway.
Great choice and never been disappointed with the food.
The original owners are back after the previous owners decided it was too much. Since the originals owners have come back I've never had a bad meal or anything missing from my order.
I'd even go as far as to say I smell something other than Pot Purri from the 1 ???? reviews.
This place is a hidden gem.
Fantastic food great value for money i hadnt had banana fritters for years best i have ever tasted crunchy not soggy staff are very friendly they dont deliver but after tasting food dont let that put you off well worth a visit 10/10
Absolutely brilliant chinese take away, food is fantastic. I would highly recommend.
