The food is good, but the mobile-only ordering system is annoying. The staff don't announce when your food is ready, so you have to spend 15 minutes waiting in front of the cubbies.
I would give 4 stars for the high food quality, but the ordering experience is very subpar.
This is not a place to hold a wedding reception nor is it really a place to get good food. The menu rotates every 7 weeks or so because the eatery is connected to WPI and runs alongside the schools terms, which means it is closed most of December and 3 months in the summer. The restaurant is mostly attended by students who can eat there using their college meal plan, with this in mind the food quality's only consistency is the cheapness of the ingredients despite the relatively high cost of the food. The Soda is free and bottomless and desert and a small apatiser is included with the cost. A burger with fries is about $8 and almost all I ever trust.
The place is an improvement compared to the Morgan dining hall, but that does not say much. Do not buy the meals with money, only go there on your meal swipes as the food is almost never fresh and looks like it came straight from a freezer. The food quality declines each term so don't expect quality.
Fine if you're a student but I wouldn't recommend most people trying it out unless they can get it for free from a WPI student. The bar is good at least, and the ice cream can be great depending on the night.
Compared to other WPI dining hall food, Goats head is good. As far as restaurants go though, it's pretty meh. Food is hit or miss. I think it's gone down in quality this year. Most people say to ask for less cheese on their pizza.
Went here for a school function so it was catered. Not sure if the Goat's Head provided the food, but it was tasty. Good drinks, nice casual atmosphere.
A breath of fresh air for freshman when it comes to meals than deka. For upperclassmen who live in and around founders, it is a nice place to go to get a quick restaurant-ish type of food without having to really travel that far
No reason to come here if not on a WPI meal plan. For what you pay you could get much higher quality food almost anywhere else.
