I arrived late on a Friday evening but the chef was very happy to accommodate me - and boy am I glad! Truly delicious food.
Great real ale and wonderful service.
What else could you ask for? Wonderful!
Good honest tastie pub grub, great service. Friendly accommodating staff and even offered the dog some food ❤️ highly recommend a pit stop here if your in the Area.
Excellent service and the food was so magical, honestly it’s one of the best pubs I’ve ever been too for taste and friendliness let alone the area and the prices are well worth it too. it was just so tasty I couldn’t stop saying it my mouths still watering thinking about it umm I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s just visiting or passing through let alone the locals. Thank you again for the lovely evening :)
The food was wonderful and the portion sizes were extremely generous. The service was excellent. There was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and we were treated well throughout. The restaurant is beautifully fitted out and the ambience was great.
The food was brilliant and if you get a table overlooking the Dee then the views are the real deal and FREE. Beers good too. We stayed in Milkwood Cottage in Corwen which was 95% perfect, the odd 5% was due to the morning sun. Wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. Great host, Nick, who was very accommodating throughout our stay. Loads of good walks and plenty of sites to visit. Bala, Ruthin, Rhug, Corwen and the Dee are all musts but there are others too.
Thank you Karen you saved 7 hungry women! How you managed to cook that many meals in the time you did and by yourself is unreal! Especially as the kitchen had closed!! Outstanding, we were all very grateful (and full!)
My partner and I popped in for a drink on two occasions while we were on holiday in this area. The landlady was lovely and friendly as were the locals using the pub part of this inn. A lovely bar to visit!
We popped in for some drinks with my best friend, stag do. We stayed till very late. Service was great. We did extend our stay to maximum and even beyond. Small pub just by the road. Very classic, range of different drinks, with some local as well. Next time I’ll pop in try some foods.
