My husband and I love staying at the Georgetown Inn. You can't beat the location -- right in the heart of Georgetown. But it's the staff that really makes it such a special place to stay. Everyone is incredibly welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. You feel like you're going to stay at a someone's house -- not a hotel. And the new lobby decor looks fantastic. Very updated. The renovations to the 1310 restaurant are even better! We had drinks there one night and hope to have breakfast or dinner there the next time we stay at the Georgetown Inn. Which we hope is soon!
The hotel was within walking distance to nice restaurants and shops. It was a short cab ride to the museums and monuments. We were able to drive from the hotel to the zoo and to Arlington cemetery. Valet was super convenient and our room was spacious enough for two adults and two children. It was clean and the maid service cleaned up the rooms and made our beds while we were out during the day. My daughter and I were obsessed with Pressed next door and enjoyed their chocolate açaí as a nighttime treat.
Lovely sunny room. Fantastic location in the middle of Georgetown. Great breakfast we dined in a couple of times although server a little grumpy.||Would have preferred a clean glass on the room daily. It was clearly used and empty on the bedside table but never replaced. A small detail, but would have appreciated it.||Overall, though, a very enjoyable stay.
Always a great experience at Georgetown Inn. Awesome location and the service is wonderful. I was impressed with the upgrades that they made to their lobby; more space, new flooring, new elevator interior. My favorite place to stay in D.C.!
We ate supper here April 29 on our way to BC The service was excellent Pot pies were exceptional but could have done without the 20 cm of snow! On return we stopped here again. Our server Julia was very accommodating and again pot pies were fantastic. We messed up days of our reservation or we would have stayed here but no vacancy!
I noted that the Hotel states that it strives to offer exceptional Customer service. However, following a family emergency, I have now emailed the hotel 5 times, including to the Director of Guest Services & the General Manager. To date, I have not received the courtesy of a single reply.|I am sure it is a great place to stay but surely it was not too much to ask for at least some form of help & understanding.
The Georgetown Inn is my absolute, favorite #1 place to stay in Georgetown! As an alumni and parent of a student at Georgetown University, I am in town fairly often. The Georgetown Inn never disappoints. The hotel ambiance fits into the historic Georgetown vibe, the rooms are spacious (I always try to book a Georgetown Room with 2 beds), the beds comfortable and the bathroom ample size and clean. The update lobby looks fantastic. The 1310 restaurant food is always delicious, and the bar is hopping at night. Plus, convenient onsite valet parking. The Inn is in the perfect location to walk to all of the Georgetown spots, waterfront and campus. It's perfect! I highly recommend.
Good value Georgetown hotel, the location is great for access to the restaurants and bars on M street. Transport links are convenient, the DC circulator bus stops adjacent to the hotel and it is a 15 minute walk to Foggy Bottom Metro station. Would happily stay there again.
