Yesterday, for my birthday I went to this amazing place with my husband. It is very cozy and elegant. I was impressed by the service. The food and the drinks were exquisitely good, the owner and the waitress welcomed us and made us feel at home. Christina was our waitress, she was so nice very down to earth, and very helpful with the choice of our food and drinks. We certainly are going back. I recommend you all to The George you won't be disappointed.
We had a really great time here for restaurant week. I really loved the truffle pirogies. Our service Gianna was great and very attentive. Stephanie is an extremely active manager, she was circulating the restaurant throughout the evening and I could tell she was running the show and waved her down and thanked her for a great experience. The vibe in the place is great. We will be back.
UPDATE: In response to my review, GM management offered our family a make-good based on the subpar experience. They were genuinely interest in learning from my experience, and demonstrated a professional commitment to addressing the required improvements.
We took advantage of the make good this weekend. I’m pleased to report the food quality was significantly improved, alongside the always pleasant service and engaging, family friendly atmosphere. Brunch with Santa in Dec has become a bit of a tradition with us, and we have every intention of going again this year. Thank you, GM.

My family’s recent experiences at this restaurant have been nothing short of disappointing. We’ve been regular customers of Burger Bar (and the other GMs) since 2014…but about a year ago, the quality of the food took a drastic nosedive. It's now on par with a hungry man microwave dinner - burnt, yet seemingly undercooked, flavorless (except for an overwhelming amount of salt), and shockingly expensive.
We made the mistake of bringing my extended family here for my daughter's birthday, sticking to simple burger orders, but 7 out of 10 were sent back to the kitchen. Sadly, those that returned mostly went uneaten. We decided to give them another chance a few months later after they experienced flooding due to heavy rain (as we’re all for supporting local businesses), but our hopes were dashed once again.
The $12 kids' chicken fingers (3) were practically 99% breadcrumbs with a mere 7 fries, the kids' grilled cheese was a sad combination of break-apart cheap white bread and a single slice of American cheese. The shakes tasted like bland skim milk with zero flavor, and the $20 fiesta chicken tacos on “special” (see pic) left much to be desired.
I'm writing this review with the hope that it catches the attention of the restaurant's ownership and motivates them to improve both the food quality and the overall dining experience. Otherwise, this once-beloved establishment seems to have lost its way.

We came here to celebrate a birthday and food was really good. Although I wasn't a big fan of a lot of the menu options, the waiter was nice enoughto accommodate me. The bartender made our cocktails deliociously to order. Our waiter was amazing even though they were short staffed. Overall, it was a fun evening.
Not thrilled by service at the bar at all, girl was busy with her boy friend all night, had no intention of paying attention to anyone else, she forgot items that I ordered in my burger like lettuce, tomato onions and then said they come on the side, sure! My friend ordered a black jack burger and in the menu doesn’t say it’s really spicy and she didn’t mention that either so she only ate the buns bacon and fries, my drink was finished for like 10 min she never came to ask if I wanted another one, so i had to ask, loaded fries nahhh ???? meet patties were over cooked, almost burnt. So food wasn’t good neither service, so just not coming back here.
Superb restaurant. Outdoor seating was perfect for a warm day. Strong cocktails and excellent customer service from my waitress Grace. I had the chicken tostada. It was delicious. Definitely make this a summer eats destination.
I don’t know what going on there . Maybe it’s management because I order a chicken sandwich which look great on the picture. I received it which was a plaint sandwich nothing special. I also order two pretzel. I mean when I tell you salt was drench all over it and think sea salt . I don’t know how anybody can eat that. I call which I was two min away to ask to return it . I was told by manage to come back next time and she will put a credit . What does that mean if u can’t eat something and want full refund . I just gave $60 donation to charity because I will never eat there again.
