Nice bar in Heathrow Terminal 5. Food is quite good. Nice selection of Big Smoke beers.
Staff are excellent and hard working, they didn't stop while I was there!
Good place to spend a couple of hours before your flight.
Not sure why there are bad reviews but this place has the best airport food I ever tasted!
Food arrived quickly and drinks were good as well.
We had the meat platter and this was enough for 2 and every item tasted good.
The chips were amazing as well, had to order another serving!
Sajol provided excellent service during my recent visit to The Globe. He was friendly and attentive and had great knowledge about the menu and provided great recommendations for both food and drinks. The food was exceptional, with each dish being perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, making for a great dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant and Sajol to anyone looking for a delicious meal and great service.
Now called The Globe Pub and Kitchen. Food was mediocre but does have Priority Pass that gives you £15pp but most meals are over that price.
This place does not know how to properly serve a Guinness and had to ask for my beer because they were waiting for it to flatten and settle.
Poor service and had to ask and wait for silverware after receiving my food to begin eating.
The closest you will get to an actual resteruant in T5. good pub grub, not too expensive considering the location, and the food was served promptly. Would recommend to those in need of a sit down meal, because the atmosphere Is also relaxing.
This lovely pub is outside security, just behind the check in desks. Well worth visiting. Had two lovely meals at sensible prices, a sweet potato mash cottage pie and a burger. All served on pottery plates from Surrey Ceramics which was lovely to see, supporting local businesses. Extensive drinks list, again not over priced and the outside sitting very pleasant with cushioned seats. Front off house ladies very welcoming.

Taste: I was expecting some old school fish and chips but I got a normal fish and chips with a Tartar and a green sauce dip and a Heinz ketchup, english mustard, mayonnaise, hp and tabasco sauce.
Atmosphere: ok, sit outside and you can watch people walk by and sit inside you have a pub atmosphere.
Service: You sit and order, they take your order, they serve, you eat and ask for bill. Staff is ok.
Pros: In T5. They have a 15min service pledge and food was indeed serve within 15min.
Cons: Fish and chips could be better. Staff could be more tactful.
Was giving 4 stars as I was posting this when I was still eating. What drop 2 stars now was because the waitress came and demanded I settled the bill although I was still enjoying my cola.
Dropped off my other half and we had breakfast here. Really great Full English and good coffee.
Staff really friendly and efficient!
August 2019 - Visited again two years after my initial review and the quality of food and standard of service is still just as high!
