We walked into mostly dirty tables. No big deal. Only the bartender was serving food, and she was working her tail off. The food was not good. We ordered the patty melt medium rare, and it came out well done and very dry. The breaded mushrooms were way overdone. The other patrons of the bar did not make it a pleasant experience. Too much overconfident men who have to show their masculinity by hitting on women and disrespecting them. That can be chalked up to the night, but still, the food was bad. It was so bad I didn't look for fire sprinklers.
I have to revise my review from 3 years ago. I have always loved their pizza. Today for my birthday we got 2 pizzas and wings. We spent $60. I believe that’s a fair price for great pizza. The pizza today was horrible. It consisted of a gooey sloppy undercooked mess. The crust was hard on the bottom like cardboard. I hope this was a one time problem for them. They 2 stars are for the great beer coupled with the -1 star pizza.
Came out to watch the Lions play on a Monday night. It was moderately busy but the one bartender/waitress did a spectacular job making sure that we were taken care of and that our food came out at a reasonable time (we told her we were hungry). If you’re looking for a good dive bar, this is the place to be. We had the Hawaiian pizza and it was good!
Oh my god how do you mess a pizza up this bad. It was possibly the worst pizza I have ever tasted. Burnt bottom, soggy doughy inside, lackluster cheese, and the sauce is just awful. For a place that used to be known for good pizza this now is the worst display of Detroit style pizza and you should stop serving it and take off your menu. Please read your reviews and get the hint that new owners need to be taught how to make a better pizza.
The pizza was fantastic. It's the best deep dish pizza i've had in michigan!!! The service is always perfect!!
I will never order from here again. Never. 3 large pizzas and 2 salads. $76.00. The pizza sucked. Salads were nothing special, and while I was waiting I was accused of stealing money off the bar. Are you kidding me. Absolutely horrible experience. What a joke. I will definitely make sure to tell people NOT to dine there.

I probably hadn't been here in 35 - 40 years. How the place has changed! Had group of 12 here for a birthday lunch. Food was terrible. I had a small square pizza. Ate a couple slices, cause I was hungry, took the other 2 home. I threw them away as I walked in the house. And I'm a pizza lover, I've probably never thrown pizza. BIL ate 3 or 4 bites of his Caesar salad and coulnd't eat anymore. MIL said the fish and chips were terrible. How do you mess up fish and chips? The only dish I saw that people finished was the French onion soup.
The only thing that saved this from being a 1 star review was our server. She was the only server there, with a half-full bar, a group of 6-8 watching football, a 4 top and our table of 12. She freaking rocked!
