Amazing food and lovely staff , they couldn't be more welcoming , thank you for you hospitality , homemade cooking at its best . Wish we had come here at the beginning of our holiday for my birthday meal as the pub / hotel up the road wasn't as friendly and food wasn't that good either . Thank you once again x
Warm welcomes given to our dog and two children and amazing home cooked food. Home made curry and chips, winner. Very lovely pub dog too.
My oh my. This was such a treat! The food was fresh and tasty. Owners are simply amazing, accommodating and great with children.
Gluten free options available AND they serve food all day, which seemed to not be so common in the area.

A lovely pub, we had a lovely meal here last week, husband had the steak with real home made chips! Good beer and good company, met a few of the locals too, all this and very dog friendly.
We visited this place based on reviews and it didn't disappoint. Lovely warm welcome from everyone in there and the food was homemade, piping hot and delicious. We will definitely be visiting again!
2nd night here and the food was as good as the time before had the curry tonight it was excellent, wife had the steak and kidney pudding I challenge you to eat this as the portions are huge it takes some finishing. Well done to the owners and the friendly locals for making this pub a very welcoming place to eat and drink.
Good luck for the future if we are up this way again soon I know where I'll be coming for food and a drink.

Best little pub I’ve been in in a long while. Food was outstanding and had some great Veggie options too. The curry’s and the stroganoff were delish!
Owners were so welcoming!

What a lovely gem of a pub.
Quite possibly the most welcoming owners I've ever come across.
Nothing was too much trouble and the owner was great with our child. All the food was excellent, the home cooked chips were particularly tasty.
Good choice of ales and a lovely evening.
