I have heard about Oklahoma onion burgers. Thus, I went to The Garage during a lunch break to try them out. I was very happy with this decision.
Located on Main Street in Norman, OK, this place is awesome. When you walk inside, you can see all the interesting things they have on the walls. You order at a counter (which is either elevated or the lady was really tall) and they give you a number for your order.
The burger and fries came out very fast and very not. Those fried onions must have been placed on the burger a minute before I took my first bite.
Highly recommended place for those in the area wanting to experience a truly delicious burger.
The atmosphere and staff have always been great here, but the presentation and setup of the burgers always leave me a bit disappointed, especially if you select the lettuce wrap option.
I really wish the burgers were better because I really enjoy the vibe/setup, but I am always reluctant to go here because the food is always just ehhh each time.
Great burgers and fries. Ordered at the bar and got the onion burger with fries and sat in a booth. Order was delivered in short time. Burger was cooked nicely and the grilled onions were delicious. Fries were tasty and hot. Staff checked in on me several times and cleaned my table when I was finished. The walls and decor are wild with street signs and odd things. While dining I noticed modern music was playing in the background. A great place for a burger for sure. They have reserved parking in the back if you don’t find parking on Main Street.
First time visiting and it was great! Food was fresh, tasted so good. Atmosphere was amazing. Nice decor. And service was fantastic! Definitely gnna come back and visit
Friendly atmosphere! Very nice folks. They have more than one location, but the one in Norman gets my stamp of approval. If you’re in town stop by and have an Oklahoman. I did!
I got the new Sweet Oklahoma burger that has a layer of cream cheese, sliced grilled jalapenos, and a jalapeno relish. It truly is the perfect combination of spicy and sweet. Not very spicy and I would say it was refreshing. I definitely would recommend it!
Our server was great, there was a line but we were able to get to the bar and order food and drinks pretty quickly. Delicious food, we'll definitely come back.
Ordered the Bacon Avocado Ranch burger. It was super good! I highly recommend it!
