Decent cheeseburger (caution! a large double will fall apart on ya'!) served up for $7.50 from down-to-earth friendly staff. Places probably pulls on the nostalgia heartstrings more than anything...will consider upgrading rating on subsequent visist as I come getba cool treat on a hot day. Scenic overlook (the river, not the highway!).

Food was great as always , sometimes a little wait only because of many customers. Nice deck looking over the river with picnic tables, and some shaded tables.

We took our kiddos out for fried pickles and ice cream...we ordered the fried pickles but were a little disappointed that it was not the fried pickles spears that we have come to love for the past couple years. I hope that the little fried pickle strips that we got Saturday isnt a replacement to the originals because the spears are the best. I ordered the banana split hands down the best around. It is big enough for two people ( if not more) to share. They have redone the deck. We really enjoyed it.
The prices were good, but the burgers were okay. Fries were very good. Note that it’s cash only.
