Best burgers in town and prices. I can always count on having a great time here. Great place for a chill date night. Just look at how beautiful the place looks on a Tuesday night. I only wish I had been able to take a picture of the burger, but by the time I got to taking pictures I had eaten all my burger and fries. Do ask for the aioli sauce with the fries. It's the best.
I don’t understand the hype. I waited over 45 minutes for a 2 burgers and 1 order of onion rings. The cheese wasn’t even fully melted
On the burgers. The burgers were dripping grease and had too much garlic aioli. The onion rings were burnt and basically just eating a ring of grease. It was so bad, I’d have rather paid to Uber eats McDonald’s burgers to my house.
Damn good smash burger. A bit too much Mayo for my tastes though. And I’m not a fan of not being able to modify the burgers to suite my preferences. Fries were excellent. Service was friendly but it took forever to get our burgers. Prices were good.
Burger was decent but too much mayo. Onion rings were $6 for 6 onion rings and half where brunt.

Staff was professional and prompt with service. The outdoor dining area was lovely. Burgers were fantastic, but the dipping sauces and sides left some to be desired.
I would absolutely recommend this place to friends looking for a good burger in a great environment.
Juicy, crunchy, cheesy, and melting in your mouth deliciousness. Their $7 OG burger is sure to dominate any of your other favorite burgers simply on the basics alone. No lettuce, tomatoes or onions needed, and it’s guaranteed to make you fight your friend for their last bites.
Perfect crust burger, such a hard culinary skill to master and TFT had nailed it.
Crispy fries, perfectly salted. Fresh onion rings, so crispy salty Delicious. We'll be back.
We enjoyed some burgers and fries from The Friendly as a pop-up event at Metl Bar down in the SD Gaslamp. The smash burgers were flavorful and extremely juicy. Simple ingredients but delicious!
Definitely will make a stop at the restaurant next time I’m in the area!
