It’s a Sam Smiths pub so no mobiles allowed. But if you can live with that then it’s quite a nice little pub. They have a separate games room which has pool and darts. Would go back if ever in the area. Friendly bar lady.
A nice welcoming pub. We could only sit outside because our group had dogs. It's a Sam smiths pub, so it had stout and mild on draft at giveaway prices. What's not to love.
Landlady is a joke posting pictures on Facebook of customers because they sat next to her fire on a cold day ????get a grip
Tried to give no stars. Stinks of sour beer. Web site lies about the food and atmosphere, which is toxic. Could not see any evidence of serving food yet pretty pictures on site. Drinkers from tap room had been let into the best room so very unfriendly. Avoid unless your need for alcohol is overwhelming.

Nice friendly pub with good beer. No phone zone which is a welcome break from tech when socialising.
Got stranded in this village, 100+ miles from home, and we ended up at this pub, they brought us in, they were very friendly and hospitable, the locals were something else, I've seldom met such friendly people, can't thank these people enough for their hospitality
Not alot of people go in as it's a Sam Smith's pub so pretty boring like all the rest hmmm
