Well one of those days was very interesting had a curry earlier and looking for zero caffeine MC Donald's doesn't do a hot milk or decaf coffee so walked to this bright place and went inside to a feel of a family atmosphere everyone very welcoming and Toby made me a hot milk I added a galaxy chocolate bar and recon it's the best for a decent night's sleep so thankyou Toby for making my night will definitely be back the lady was selling tickets for the Christmas raffle so I would get some as there are many prizes going to be the best Christmas here in 2023. Looking forward to celebrating the new year here. It's a little bit of a walk out of town but it's very worth it my favourite place to be.
It's OK. Reasonably priced, but nothing special at all. If you're out of the area then there's much better places to go. If you're immediately local then it'll do in a pinch. Decor is a bit tired and there's a smell of damp.
Great pub with a selection of well kept real ale ( doombar , buttybach and pride but they change weekly ) a fine selection of reasonably priced wine and a selection of lagers and of course as I'd the case the days Gin ! Friendly landlady and staff plenty of banter with the locals and free pool and jukebox on Fridays . Pleasant recently landscaped gardens too! Thoroughly recommended.
Sports bar environment. Didn't notice if they did food but don't think so. This is a bar full of local people..and u are made welcome
Spent my first night ever in this pub a few days back. Had a good time watching the footie on the tele with some of the locals. Really enjoyed the feel of the place, yeah it was noisy n crowded, but it was also choc full of laughter, respect and friendliness from both the punters and the staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my night in The Fountain...it's a fun and joyful place to hang out.

Great little pub with very welcoming bar staff. Excellent fortnightly open mic night with lots of performers.
Late review, as we went here a while ago. But great pub, very good staff.
