We have lived locally for five years or so, and today made our first visit. We grabbed some lunch and for two baguettes, crisps, drinks & cakes it came to £14.80. The food was delicious and fresh, the staff were warm and welcoming. The lemon cake was absolutley delicious. Five stars+!
The pork pies are the best I have tasted for a long while,and the steak pies are filled with the best meat ,no gristle.
The only ones my Grandson will eat.
The pork pies and the steak pies freeze perfectly.

Nice selection of goodies , really enjoyed the homemade scone and friendly staff , only negative would be I’d prefer to see tongs for staff to pick up my food , not keen on cash handling and food handling with same hands .
I remember yrs ago when I lived in Hornsea buying a large pork pie from this shop for christmas....today after moving away from Hornsea I went bk to this shop.
The shop has moved since I was last hear.
Today March (23) I was served by a lovely, lady called Jenny, the shop was spotlessly clean, bright n airy.
I just had to have a pork pie, along side home made cakes n pastries.
WOW....The porkpie...is the Best pork pie still, lean succulent pork surrounded by beautifull tasting jelly encased in bang on crusted pastry....wow!
The cakes..apple pie, custard, scone etc. Perfection! THANK YOU..UR THE BEST!

Great produce, much is made fresh on site. Everything seemed very hygiene conscious with only 2 allowed inside at a time, and even the packaged goods were of a better quality. Home made goods were very reasonably priced for the standard.
I can vouch for the sandwich baguettes, the quiche, the flapjack and the scones (they come with little packets of butter, jam and clotted cream), all that was under £8 and there was enough for all day long.
There were many more options and an interesting butchers counter too.
Great sandwiches, great cakes (excellent range to choose from) and the lady serving was super helpful and very pleasant. I also bought a pork pie and some pork dripping for later!
We will definitely buy from here on our next day trip to Hornsea.
