What a little find this cafe was. It offers an extensive menu including an ‘all day breakfast’ menu which we live as we are late risers.
Lovely and clean. Staff very welcoming and helpful. You can pay on card. Table water was offered. Service was super quick, hot and delicious. My husband ordered the breakfast egg and bacon sandwich and it was beautiful with lovely golden runny yolks! The napkins were a great size too, as we left without any dinner medals!
I had the savoury on letter with cheese mushrooms and spinach which was great too, and not greasy.
Another bonus for me was the decaffeinated coffee and tea options. Also a good range of milkshakes too, which my husband loves.
Price point was great too.
There were no steps, which was great as I use a stick to get about.
I would definitely come to this warm and friendly and very tasty cafe again
Pictured are gluten free cannoli's which are essential for us to buy on every visit to Stratford! They have an extensive choice of these and a couple of gluten free cakes as well. This isn't often the case so we'll done the this place.
We had breakfast the same morning and I had the vegetarian breakfast which was lovely. Strange combination with the hummus, and a huge pot of it too. I loved all the elements of it though so can't moan.
Had fresh orange juice too which was so delicious ????
Lovely family run cafe.
Very busy cafe in a very lovely area of Stratford upon Avon. Decor is a little dated though and could do with an update, reminded me a little of my grandma's sitting room. Staff were lovely and friendly though, order at the counter and they will bring your order to the table.
My husband was disappointed with his pasty but we both loved the midsummer nut dream crepe with pistachio ice-cream.
Dogs are allowed.
Stopped forca drink, I had a cappuccino which was very nice. They also do smoothies ! This is banana and Strawberry.
Staff friendly and from what I could see food looks nice.
Beautiful place with fresh food. Had the cream tea. Great after a stroll past Shakespeare's house, after a potter about, for a great price! There was some confusion with the woman who served us, but otherwise everything was great. Sat outside in the quaint street and it was beautiful. The scone and tea were lovely.
The Food of Love is a cafe in Stratford-Upon-Avon, on the main attraction street, opposite the birthplace of Shakespeare. The food is decent and there is a good variety of options to choose from the menu. Service is informal and mostly friendly though it can get quite loud and rowdy when the waiters are talking over the screaming kids, so if you’re looking for a quiet spot to unwind after sightseeing this would probably not suit everyone. The food prices were more tourist-oriented but I guess that is to be expected in a place with such a prime location. There is indoor and outdoor seating.
The crepe did not seem freshly made very chewy and not nice hence low rating. Nice location, they seem to be teaching some new staff. Outside Crumy table, jacket potato was nice but I found a hair. Would not visit again
Below average for a centre of town establishment. Coffee was cold. The owner was noisy banging on the table with a spoon while polishing the cutlery. The staff had no manners. The potion size was reasonable. As a local I would advise not to come here. Expensive and below average.
