Best KPortal Reviews
The Flying Biscuit Cafe is the next greatest restaurant that you must try. Everything is great here. Real biscuits, the best southern grits, with plenty of tasty and delicious choices for the meat lover, vegetarian, pescatarian, and vegan diner. Brian was very helpful with his service, quality, and expertise. The atmosphere was a mixture of eclectic meets city life type of vibe. We really enjoyed this family atmosphere dining experience. I recommend this place so much that I need them to open a franchise in the Bradenton, Sarasota, Palmetto, Florida area... Please!!!!
You must try for yourself to understand.
Arrive about 20 mins before the hunger hits because this place will have a wait time for seating... and it's absolutely worth it. Attentive service and the food came out fast. Huge portions with lots of flavor!
Nice variety of food choices. Customer service can be better (Hostess). Cramped seating area. Waitress/waiter pleasant. The greens an macaroni & cheese is a HARD NO.
Love having breakfast there. Grits are awesome coming from this yankee girl. Big shout out to all. Server was so nice.
So they’ve done it again. The Hot Dirty Bird is probably the best way I’ve ever enjoyed chicken and waffles. House made gravy with a nice mild buffalo sauce. The runny egg yolk melds perfectly with all three to form the ultimate savory topping for a waffle. Visually scary, but amazing to the palette. The chorizo in the Three Amigos was perfectly seasoned and not very oily while still avoiding being dry. One should note they are served in a traditional soft corn tortilla so make sure that’s something you enjoy. Sauces were served on the side by default so you can experiment with the flavors how you like. Honestly underrated- the Grilled Mac n’ Cheese. Like nothing else I’ve ever having claimed to be mac n cheese. A must try. The “moon dusted” potatoes were fine. A house made seasoning blend on home fries. They were crispy enough but I’m biased against home fries so I will leave that up to the higher powers to say if they’re good or not. Also Hailey was an amazing waitress who was always on the ball practically always one step ahead of us.
We love coming here. There's pretty much always a wait but it's worth it. The grits are fantastic, so are the biscuits. Love the service as well.
The stuff french toast was the best part of our meals, the dirty bird was alright but the gravy was a little overpowering. The apple butter with Biscuits were really good. The server (Gio) was super friendly and would have him again. The grilled mac and cheese was no a favorite at all with our table. The grits were so so. The meal after tip was $40 and that is a little pricey for a breakfast place.
We were looking for a dog friendly restaurant and choose The Flying Biscuit Cafe, what a great place!! Food and service was outstanding... we will definitely be back!????
