When I am in this area once in a while I love to go to The Fish Palace, so I did today.
Super fresh, battered and deep fried the moment you order. Just perfect 5* Yummy ???? experience.
This is the £6 All Days Kids menu with additional mushed peas...next time I am up for the adults menu ;-)
Very friendly staff & Managing team. I enjoyed with a fresh tasty Cod and Chips. they gave me some branches of beautiful plants as a gift too. Appreciate all of them ????????
Sadly a little disappointed with the cod and the batter for the price I would of expected the fish a little more chunkier and batter more crispy it was chewy and hard however service was excellent and the chips were delicious.
After paying we did tell the owner and he said we should have mentioned it so to be fair in my review I am sure he may of made another one but the whole point is to have it served well in the first place! The chips were lovely and crispy and soft inside absolutely perfect so do try them!
If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would - this is possibly the best fish and chip shop I’ve ever been to. The food was absolutely perfect, and the staff were really friendly. Will definitely return if I visit London again.
We ordered the classic fish and chips which was good and plentiful but the best was Mustafa who served us and warned me that I was about to ruin my plate with sugar( obviously thought salt) He was so nice about it and didn't make me feel even more foolish????

Been here twice now, having only recently discovered it. Been a fish and chip fan since my childhood. These are some of the best fish and chips I've ever enjoyed. Soft , crispy, potato tasting chips. Wow. Ordered a large cod. Wow! Large, fresh fish, not overcooked. Crispy, non oily batter. If it's not good, I take it off and never eat it. Not a chance here, it's just too good. Fresh salad too, presented beautifully. Very clean establishment. Oh, and great friendly, efficient service. Oh, and great value.
Delicious food and very friendly staff. I've been a customer since I was living in Crouch End, before moving to Muswell Hill. It's one of my favourite places in town. :)
Possibly the best eaterie in London in terms of the freshness of the food and the price point.
We were due to go to Alexandra Palace but it wasn't open right then so we got something to eat.
The fish palace is quite unassuming and easy to miss but we liked what they had on the menu.
I ordered the cod, a large chip and yes a doner kebab (we were that hungry).
What we got was pure divine, real thick cut chips, not too salty or oily and kept crispy. The fish lightly battered with a wonderful taste.
The kebab was massive and was full of flavour. The palace laid on a plate full of vegetables to wash it down.
I was expecting the price to be around £40-50 for such a feast but it came to just shy of £30. An absolute bargain and the staff were amazing, making sure the food was as good as it looked.
