Thus is the first time here. What a lovely friendly pub. It was very busy when we went and the staff were run ragged but service was still second to none. The food was excellent and piping hot , cheesecakes were gorgous as well . We will defo go back
Found this little gem last year been back several times since. Food amazeing. Staff great. Tried the carvery this time again amazing. If you haven't yet been you need to you won't be disappointed.
Had a lovely meal sat on the banks of the river with great service and views. The kids meal was fantastic and our little one is a picky eater!
Booked for the family this morning, 5 adults, 3 children. Greeted by a wonderful man upon arrival, who served us drinks in the bar as we where a little early and waiting for a couple to arrive.
We where shown to our table in the gorgeous restaurant area overlooking the garden. The service was attentive and we where quickly given menus. The most amazing Sunday lunch experience ensued with starters for the adults and the children's food being served at the same time so that we could relax and enjoy. Roast beef and lamb cooked to perfection as where the vegetables, in abundance, with extra gravy and the best freshly cooked yorkshire pudding. Such a special time spent with family and a credit to the staff and the village. We will definitely recommend and be back soon. Thank you❤️
Absolutely beautiful place and great food will definitely go back in summer as a lovely outdoor area, excellent value and good size meals staff were very nice , unfortunately I didn't get the blonde girls name , she had glasses, very friendly had a good joke with us . Fantastic evening
Food was very good and the dishes were as expected. Service was reasonably quick for a Saturday evening. Very nicely decorated and finished venue.
Lovely home cooked food with a friendly, welcoming, well presented atmosphere to dine in. Only let down was the menu is limited but the food likewise stated earlier was 100000%

Called in again 3 weeks later got a lovely warm welcome from Steph, we had only visited once before, so great to be remembered! Took a friend for lunch, he had bangers and mash, we had steak and ale pie. Wonderful thanks!
