Best KPortal Reviews

Small restaurant, seats about 20 people, so always expect a wait. Went on a random Monday morning and waited 30 minutes for a table.
Every drink (drip, iced tea and cold brew) was delicious. Every dish (pork skillet, potatoes, burger and salad) was fresh, delightful and filling.
Good service and a nice neighborhood ambiance. Recommend!
This is a very small neighborhood cafe serving Italian & New American breakfast and brunch. They also have hand crafted coffee drinks and other organic juices, not freshly squeezed though. Since the space is small there will be a little bit of wait and it’s probably good for groups upto 4 people. I like how they manage though - reservations are allowed to be booked half of their space so they can welcome walk-ins in the remaining half. The ambience is lively but not too loud with beautiful rustic decor. Staff is very friendly and the service is pretty fast too. Tried shakshuka and cardamom granola with yogurt and liked both. Coffee was also good and strong. Bakery treats which included specialty cookies and croissant were also good. The options are limited of you don’t eat eggs.
Strong drip coffee, shakshuka with lamb meatballs with perfectly poached eggs and the piece du resistance - a dollop of Greek yogurt - balanced and spicy. Such a delight! Don't skip the cardamom granola for a light accompaniment. Raise your spirits with a house spritz to wrap up another fantastic adventure!!! Highly recommend you make a reservation or show up at opening time to secure a table ????
Easily our favorite brunch spot in Seattle. Writing this review after having visited five times this year alone. A tad pricey ($30/pp) when all is done but totally worth it.
First the coffee, just that is an easy and refreshing 5/5. I get the drip, my wife gets the latte.
We usually get the cardamom buns or gluten free almond cookies with the coffee while we're waiting for the entree to be prepared and these are to die for. 5/5. I think it's also perfectly legal to bookend the meal with these almond cookies... one at the start with coffee, and one at the end (or to go!). There's a reason they call them cloud cookies - if you haven't tried them you simply must!
And the star of the show, for us, is the entree: one order of the Camicia for each of us, with an order of the roasted fingerling potatoes (5/5) for the table. The Camicia is kind of a variant of the shakshuka with not-so-spicy peppers, mozzarella and ricotta added to the tomato sauce, and served with just the right sized portion of crusty bread. This is a divine 5/5. It would be sinful to leave behind even a drop of that sauce behind on the plate - just wipe it down clean! So satisfying and soul-stirring.
20% tip is included. We're headed there again today :) can't get enough of it!
The ginger latte is amazing. The first time I've had one, it's so good! We had the ricotta toast, the cheeseburger with the side salad and the potatoes.
The place is a bit small. We went on a Tuesday early in the morning, as we were leaving it filled up. I'm told that the weekends were really busy. It's not super expensive, a little pricey but worth it. Portions are good.
My experience at The Fat Hen was superb. The service was exceptional, and even when a mistake occurred with our order, the attentive staff promptly fixed it. I highly recommend trying their Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon – a culinary delight, and don't miss out on the must-try ricotta toast. The cozy ambiance, coupled with their excellent hot drinks, made it a breakfast to remember.
Cute little Italian brunch spot! We ordered the ricotta toast and Camicia (baked eggs) skillet dish, both soooo good! Highly recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is quite small and usually a long waitlist.
The shakshuka is very sour and the sour cream they add tastes like expired yogurt. The service are the worse part of it. Employees keeps tables empty and waiting outside even though no one waiting. Basically they charge 20% service charge which explains why the service are horrible. I absolutely don't recommend this location at all and there are alot more shakshuka authentic places rather than something as fake as this.
You can start by changing the service fee to tips since tips are depending how the service is and not enforced. I would have left the restaurant from the beginning but was too late since I already ordered.
