I can only give 5 stars instead of the 100 stars I want to give! The service and atmosphere start the meal off right with a warm welcoming. The cook is new, but the cook also knew the business end of a kitchen, because the food was amazing! My pictures don't do the food justice, but the Buffalo Chicken Strips were the best I've ever tasted, so I ordered another helping to go! Our server (sorry I didn't get her name) never walked by without asking if there's anything we needed, and both servers made the whole dining room seem like home. If you're in the area or traveling by Hamilton, Alabama, please stop by here for the whole experience.
Loved every minute. Staff is so friendly. Food was excellent. We will drive th 1.5 hours to eat here again. This is the only restaurant I've ever seen chocolate gravy on the menu. Brought back lots of childhood memories.

The big biscuit and gravy was great, and the service was spot-on. My dad and I had breakfast here this morning (5/9/24), and once again, we received excellent food and service.
Huge progress from when they first opened. One of our favorite places to eat in Hamilton. Highly recommend their Philly Cheesesteak.
May 26, 2023, Friday night, small crowd so we got our food quick! Ordered the 14oz steak and 3 sides. Perfectly cooked, with tots, green beans and Mac and cheese. Couldn't have asked for better food or service. Everything was great!
May 2023, much improvement from our first visit! Philly Cheesesteak was perfect on our 2nd visit! Fresh bread and perfectly flavored! Great customer service as well.
Came here for Mother's Day. Got seated as soon as we walked in. Waitress came and took our drink order. Before she walked 2 feet away, she forgot what I ordered. My mom ordered the pot roast with potatoes and carrots. I ordered the Country Fried Steak, Mac and cheese, pinto/white beans, and mashed potatoes with gravy on potatoes and country fried steak. We waited a while for our food. The waitress finally came back and told me that they were out of the country fried steak. I then reluctantly ordered something else. I ordered the small catfish filet with coleslaw, French fries, and mac ne cheese. Was supposed to come with hushpuppies, and I am still waiting on them. There is plenty of food on the plate, fresh, and tasted great. Problem with forgetting my drink order, not having what I ordered, and forgetting hush puppies when she said that she would bring them out.
We stopped here for lunch on the way to Montgomery and had a delightful visit. My wife's salad was excellent. I did the country fried steak and it was a bit overcooked. Food portions are generous and the value is great.
Overall though it was good and we'll stop here again in the future.
2/7/24. This was my second visit. The 1st visit was great with good food and service.(5 stars) But today I was very disappointed. I was served a glass of tea....that's it! I was there for 40 minutes. No one took my order! As I only have 1 hour for lunch, I had to leave without getting anything to eat.
(Later) This is my 3rd visit. The food and service was great! I will definitely be coming back. 5 stars.
