This is the place for really good fish. Had the perch, shrimp and walleye platter and it was enough for 2 people. Waitress was excellent and talked us into really good cherry pie, chocolate cream and butterscotch pie. Very reasonably priced entrees!
Great little family restaurant. Clean and friendly staff and quick turn around. Mashed potatoes were yummy. Walleye was delicious. Granddaughter finished all her spaghetti. Hot turkey sandwich was made with real slices Turku (not pressed meat). I bet this is the place to go for breakfast for locals.
Okay, so first off our waitress was not friendly. She also never checked on our table of 9 for the entirety of our lunch. She took our order, brought our food and then the bill. That was it. We needed refills and a couple other things but were never checked on. Secondly we were given a couple dirty plates. And we also witnessed the same waitress telling another costumer (who was asking for no butter on her toast due to a dairy intolerance) that it was not doable. Definitely not good costumer service. Food was good though. And was out quickly.
Absolutely hands down THE best pancakes I've ever had!! Service (Sandra) was as amazing as the food. You if you haven't been, go. I feel confident you won't be disappointed!
Place is horrible, don’t even waste your money trying to eat here, stopped through for a bite to eat and got a Ribeye Steak, both mine and my dad’s tasted like watered down meat with no seasoning or flavor. When we told the waitress that the steak was nasty and we weren’t gonna eat it she just said, “I’m sorry about that, is it cooked right?” Clearly not caring at all about satisfying their customers. Safe to say I would rather stop at Mcdonald’s than this place. Gross food, rude waitresses, not gonna be where you want to eat…
I ordered the walleye...I'm in the UP, ok? I ordered it broiled....big mistake. It was overcooked, and NO Seasoning whatsoever. Worst I've ever had. The young lady at the tegister asked me "how was everything? I told her. She shrugged her shoulders. I said, " Is that all you have to say, a shrug of your shoulders? " She answered I'm not the cook! I'm thinking don't have your employees ask the question, if you don't train them to answer.
The friendliest staff ever! Best food in town, never a disappointment! Large portions, and fair prices. Will not disappoint! Truly a family oriented place! Visiting from Alabama, and will definitely be back! Lisa was GREAT!
Wow this is the only place I trust to get a great meal, here's a picture of my mushroom n Swiss, ???? fantastic, I got the fresh perch basket last night and probably will again, fried perfect , tarter sauce could use a tad but more relish , but the perch was so good I didn't need any sauce.
