Been a few years, and wow. We had kiddos with us last time, so we never saw the bar side. It's probably one of the more impressive dive bars in our area. No lie. I am not a fan of my lovely Wifey's nicotine habit, but once we sat down in the thick of things, she brazenly lit up with a smile on her lip, slightly sneering with a wisp of visible smoke gently wafting from the right corner of her mouth. I wax poetic on unhealthy vices--pardons begged, and hand me a double-shot of well vodka (neat). Great bar food. Hearty. But, boy-oh-boy, if you will have an issue with a smoky bar, just don't go to that side. Take my words as an illustration of what it is. Those of us over 60 will feel nostalgic. Under 60 folks, will race home, strip off their clothes and throw them in the washer. But! Rest assured the dining room side is smoke free. Our bartender/server, Sandy (sp?), was an absolute hottie-cake-cougar, and was great with us, and the rest of the happy customers...

I definitely liked this place. It was small and quiet. I ordered a veggie omelet with 1 pancake and I thought it was delicious. The omelet was cooked perfectly as well as the hashbrowns and the menu prices are great! I will be returning for future breakfasts!!
It was great! Our server had come out of retirement to help out a coworker and she was awesome! We went in for boasted chicken, it was so refreshing to have and to watch such great service. She worked both ways and handled the entire place by herself. AND she was happy.
I used to go there because of Gina the best waitress ever. I’ve sent many of my friends there. But Denise fired her because she was jealous. Very childish. I’ll never set foot in there again. Gina made me feel like family. She really went out of her way to help people. Joe. I hope you look into this because I’ve heard that Denise badmouth you a lot. There are many of us that will no longer eat at your restaurant unless you get rid of Denise.
I can't say enough good things about this cute little diner! We stopped in with my family of 8 (5 adults 3 kids) after being on the road for 5 days and this was the best breakfast I've had the whole trip! Everything about this place reminded me of home! The food was delicious and fast! The service was fun efficient and so nice! Great coffee, yummy bloody mary, and the biggest side of ham I've ever seen! Seriously just such a nice place! So happy we stopped I highly recommend!
I was getting new tires installed down the street & tried this place. I got CFS. The waitress wanted to make sure I wanted the full size and not the 1/2 size. They didn't skimp on the steak or the gravy. And it was $14. I'll go back again and try something else. ????
Great place to relax with down-to-earth crowd. The staff is awesome and the drinks are good. When the bartenders are not too busy with walk-up patrons at the bar, they waste no time getting around to the tables.
For those other reviewers who complain about smoke... It's a smoking bar dummies. If you don't want smoke, go to a non-smoking bar.
Also, if you act like a jackass, they'll treat you accordingly. Don't be a moron (Sherrie) and it will be a good time.
