I love this small hotel. Our room was huge. We chose the one with the outdoor patio. It had two windows looking out over a patio. The bathroom was large enough for 2 people and had a beautiful glass roof that allowed for lots of light. I love the decor theme of the dark paint, the coffee bar in the room and the closet was a bit small but sufficient for staying a short time. The bar/restaurant was designed very nicely with dark colors and the couch near the door in front of the fireplace was a fabulous idea. We went twice in a row. The prices are reasonable, and the food was good. We had fish and chips and split it among 2 people. The general manager was there all day and into the night working hard. He was attentive to us and other guests and even filled in as a waiter and bartender when the bar was busy. I love this place and do recommend it for anyone staying in the area. Our room was extremely quiet, and the location was perfect, out of the hustle and bustle of Windsor.
Worst experience ever. From the moment we arrived it was terrible. The table was sticky. The menu that I received the day prior when confirming our booking wasn’t available. Very few food options and 3 things of the very limited menu wasn’t available. The first salad came and the last person got their food (a cheese platter so no cooking needed) 20 mins after the first person got theirs meaning most people were already finished when she got her food. We ordered truffle fries which never arrived either. The worst part however was when I complained to the manager he raised his voice at me and said no, I was wrong about the menu. That is only during the week (attached see photo of what I received) he was so rude and I was honestly shocked that a manager can act in such a terrible way to a paying customer. I told him that I already complained numerous times to the waiter and he didn’t even walk over and asked if everything was alright. He then said well nobody told him there was a problem (again that’s your team that is not good) when the waiter said no she did tell him there was a complaint. All in all an absolute terrible experience and very disappointed in the manager.
We had our works night out here and it was absolutely amazing- the owner and staff were so accommodating and the venue itself is brilliant. Would definitely recommend and will be back again
had a 30th birthday party where my brother had hired it all out lovely little quirky place lovely ambience good for small parties ???? the bar staff was friendly the cocktails on point food was good and the hospitality was second to none definitely recommend this place
We had fabulous cocktails here this evening. Freshly made and served with a smile. Great service, the barman was so friendly and attentive. Even gave me the playlist that was playing. Highly recommend. Thank you for our drinks to start our evening.
Perfect as always!! We had a few drinks and sushi platters. Atmosphere, music and service best in Eton ❤️ Sushi tasted incredible, one of the best ones I've ever had! We will be back for sure. Thank you very much, Eton mess never disappoints ????
From my first welcome, to my goodbye cocktail (when I'd returned to get my left charger, which they'd kept aside for me), everything was great.|The room was lush, clean, stylish, quiet. The General Manager was an absolute joy and could not have done more for me. Hope I get to return!
Just returned from an overnight stay at this delightful hotel. I can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious, as was Sunday Lunch. The location was perfect for exploring Windsor and Eton. Our room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We will definitely return!
