SUPERB Service!
I had purchased a Tiny Home in Wisconsin. Problem is, I wanted it for my property in Washington. It took a while to find someone that would/could haul my rig the approximately 1100 miles. But, once I got in contact with Ellestad, this process moved at rocket speed. The coordination and logistics were stellar...so much that I kept asking myself.."What's going to go wrong? This is too good to be true!" In the end, my worry was wasted. Ellestad picked up my home, hauled it to my location with regular and patient communication. The price was more than fair. The driver (Don Jr), was a joy to work with for the 30 minutes it took to drop off and gave more confidence in the conscientiousness of this company. I am going to be telling all my friends that are looking for tiny homes to look in the midwest (they seem to be higher quality and substantially lower price) and to work with the Ellestad company for flawless and high value delivery.
I worked with the Ellestad crew based out of Billings, MT to remove some trailers for my company and the process was seamless. The crew was friendly, punctual, and helpful. They completed the work quickly and efficiently and the job was very well priced. I would highly recommend Ellestad for any transportation or moving needs.
I worked with Ellestad as an owner operator on a medical modular move from MO to NY. The scope we originally negotiated changed when the load turned out to be higher than the customer stated. We renegotiated our agreement in my favor on a handshake. I'm happy to report they paid as we agreed.
Sam is very capable and knows his stuff. He is the one who caught the customer's error. He saved all of us some trouble with the DOT.
Lydia worked her butt off making sure we had the escorts and pole cars needed. It was impressive. She managed to come up with 10 escorts willing to go across the country on 2 day's notice. I can only imagine the number of calls she had to make. Permits were always there when we needed them and she worked through a lot of administrative problems that come with setting up new relationships in new states.
I would be happy to work with them again.
I’ve worked with this company for a couple years now. They are courteous, professional and do things the “safe way” I’ve worked with Don, Sam, Donny, and Bud, Sally is great to work with out of the office and responds to messages and texts quickly and Lydia has been great at dispatching and getting me permits and responding to questions quickly and efficiently.
Honestly you couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with.
Sally and Don moved a mobile home for me. We all thought it would be easy since it was only going 5 miles down the road. Enroute, there were tire and axle issues. They worked tirelessly changing flats and making repairs. My advice is to provide as much information as you can to them prior to the move so they know what to expect. I had sent pictures of the original tires/axles but it did not really show the existing problems and I was a first time mobile home owner and really didn't know how bad the underside of the trailer was. If I had better prepared them before moving day arrived, it would have gone smoother. We were all happy to successfully arrive at it's new location and unhitch.
We hired them to move a mobile home and on they day scheduled they were a no show. After multiple phone calls to them, no call backs like they said they would, finally the person to do the move called. They had to reschedule move. Would have been nice to know before the move date. We get things happen, but that is what communication is. Luckily we were able to find somebody last minute. If you hire them make sure you call them to make sure they don't forget you.
What a wonderful group of people to work for and with just refreshing. This is a working family company, from the drivers down to the people who get the permits and pilot cars. They are very respectful fun people to pilot for always respectful. Always pay exactly when they say they will and don't charge a bunch of fees.
They will help as as long as they have the upper hand. This company is filled with so much greed and selfish motives that as soon as you have a leg to stand on they will cut you down. Be very aware of the shortcuts they take. Be careful the silver tounge of a saleman!
