The food was good. Price was good too. I think this restaurant has so much potential in terms of atmosphere, but then again, Tallahassee is like that. Plates presentation is okay too, could be nicer. Overall, I would go back and recommend.
Do not go here. I went inside and ordered 2 to go orders of eggs benedict, $34 for both plus automatic gratuity for a to go order totaling $37.19. Fine, I’m hungry and I have to be on the road soon. I don’t mind paying for a good breakfast for us before our trip. Opened the container as soon as I got in my car, first off there’s barely any potatoes in one of the orders. For $37.19 really?? The ham is thin and not even large enough to cover two English muffins. They just slopped this order together.
The worst part was that the eggs were hard boiled. It was hard boiled old eggs on an eggs benedict for BOTH of my to go containers. One of the eggs still had raw egg whites underneath. Mind you I immediately opened it right after receiving my order and sat in my car. Terrible. Awful. It was like they didn’t even want me to order 2 orders. When I asked for 2 orders to go they initially asked if I was sure I wanted 2 orders because “It would take a while to make 2 orders, it’ll take 15-20 mins”. Which I was ok with, I waited patiently for my food only to be disappointed as soon as I got in my car and opened it. Terribly put together. Awful service questioning me if I really want 2 orders because it’ll take too long. Do not go here. They don’t want your business or to serve you. I went in for a refund and returned the food. Drive to the other egg cafe that’s 10 mins away. Go to the other egg cafe on Austin Davis Ave. They are WAY BETTER. Worth the price when done right.
I hadn't visited this location but everything was great! I had the french toast with blueberries and strawberries with light powdered sugar. I added egg/sausage. I was even able to pull my laptop out to work a little.
Such great service and food. Had a party of 7, got seated quickly. All of our food was delicious. The chef was great, had an amazing special of banana fosters french toast bites. Our server was excellent as well. Would absolutely go back again.
We had winter breakfast here, great ambience, super cordial service, excellent food preparation with quality ingredients. A must visit in town. It will surely uplift your morning mood. There are plenty of seating arrangements so groups as well as individual capacities are well managed.
Definitely 5 stars! Widest menu I’ve ever seen for breakfast. Lovely interior and nice and friendly staff. Personal trainer omelette is my personal recommendation. You should try a homemade butter from this guys - it’s something amazing. I felt in love this place.
It was a quaint breakfast place. They served coffee in these cute signature mugs.
Please note that there is no street parking. You must park in the public parking garage immediately near the restaurant.
I've eaten here a few times, only for breakfast and lunches, but it's never been super crowded any of those times. I have to say, today I had their shrimp & grits and it was INCREDIBLE. Great sausage with the shrimp, well seasoned vegetables, and the garlic bread was insanely good! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, buttery and garlicky all over! I also was not aware that they have a modest bar there, couldn't get a Manhattan, but a Tullamore Dew on the rocks was a nice accompaniment!
