Best KPortal Reviews
Tammy is a wonderful cook! Andy is great at what he does! The ice cream was the bomb!!! We had the appetizer sampler for our group of four! It was on point! The BLT is something to write home about! Thanks for the great food and fellowship!
The Pork Tenderloin was ON POINT!! I love how it was hand cut and not over smashed, left it thick and juicy with "Mom's" special breading. Andrew and his brother-in-law run a real nice place. I will be by there again for that Sammich!! Onion rings were some of the best, and hospitality was exactly why I love coming down to hunt!! Ice cream with fresh made daily and the conversation was entertaining.
Service was slow, took 20 minutes to get our food. We ordered a chicken sandwich, it was greasy and the American fries were not done and were like fried potatoes. I used several napkins to mop up the grease on both so I could eat them. We didn't have time to send it back as we had a ballgame to attend and was almost late as it was. Very disappointing and do not recommend unless you have a lot of time to waste and plenty of napkins.
This wasn't my kind of place, but I could definitely see why people would like it. I didn't enjoy my burger, the patty was so thin and dry, but the onion rings were ok. The food coming out of the very clean looking kitchen looked fresh. The fries are obviously hand cut, and the tenderloin looked better than others in the town. It's a local hangout for sure. People were smiling and having a wonderful time, so I may try again someday. I wish the decor was more inviting, it's very stark like a cafeteria; but again, it's not the kind of place I tend to enjoy. So perhaps my opinion isn't really relevant here. If you're a kind of person who loves fried foods, this place is your new place. I don't want to discourage anyone from trying this place, the kitchen was clean, the space was clean, the food is all prepared fresh, so there is nothing to loose in trying it out.
Lattice fries, steak sandwich, double cheeseburger, mozzarella sticks, dessert. Seriously good eats. Fun and inviting.
Wasn't necessarily anything wrong with the restaurant or service it was first time there .thought they were pretty pricey $12.95 for a bowl of chilli or chicken noodle soup .was going to have fish but they were out of it and opted for chicken fingers .which were definitely different they were pounded out like a fritter was good size portions
Amazing onion rings, tasteful burger with a cheese ball appetizer.
My fiance ordered a cheeseburger and they served him a cold messy burger, and forgot the cheese. The fries were another cold and soggy abomination, and my "steak" salad was the worst salad I've ever ordered, I couldn't even finish it. The employees took forever to get our food out because they were busy loudly gossiping about other employees and whoever else. Save your time and money, go to Rutledge. Superior food, prices, and service.
