This place is quiet a treat! If you are craving for great tasting Jamaican cuisine, this place will please your palate. I tried a few of their dishes and I must say that their friend dumpling is a little bit dry. The salted fish with pickled onions and peppers was great! The curried goat meat was excellent. I also like the decor of this place. It’s spacious and the servers are very polite. I would go back to this place again! Happy eating ♥️.

I would think the food is a little bit pricey… I would recommend you try it out for yourself!
That moment when you realize that eating out isn't worth it. There were about 5 girls congregated in chitchat at the register when I walked in, the place was empty. No hello/are you ready to order/give me a minute, nothing, 3-5 min pass. They walk away into the kitchen, still no one said nothing. Ok. Finally another young lady walks over from the dining area says hello and asked if anyone helped me, I said no. Now, she wasn't even suppose to be at the register and noticed how all those girls were there and did nothing. To top if off, I ordered 3 festival, 3 dumplings, and 3 piece of whiting. My bill was over $16 for a plate that had next to nothing on it and the pieces of whiting were the size of 2 kids size pinky fingers. I won't be going back. I miss the people who use to own this spot. Maybe I could have dealt with the price if the service wasn't so bad. Actually no, I was ripped off. There was next to no meat on that fish.
I’ve been coming to the cove since 2017. Still yummy as always. I’m happy to see the new steam tables in the front to make service more efficient. If I had to knit pick I’d say to keep the outside tables clean. They were all soiled, I had to clean one my self so I could sit down and have my breakfast.
This food was everything! Fresh and hot!! I had fish with okra pumpkin in a thick flavorful sauce that was perfect!!!
Even the fruit punch was super.fresh cold and refreshing. My friend who is Jamaican has been coming here for years I never knew about this gem right here in The Bronx and they have an outside patio and a small parking lot I definitely will be coming back and trying more items from the menu the service was excellent and I even got to meet the only who was very friendly. A must visit!
It was a horrible experience. A bunch of scammers. In order to dine in you will be charged a separate fee from ordering at the counter. When you sit down to dine in the menu is double the price,of the food at the counter and then the waitress tells us prices are subject to change. They were no utensil set up. Rum punch tasted virgin, and on the menu the daily special was $10 came out to be $16 We order our food, unsatisfied with our food and the customer service. Bad experience overall. Hopefully they’ll get it together.
I am so disappointed. I do not live in the Bronx anymore and decided to order from an old favorite. It took almost an hr and a half to receive the order. When I finally received it, only one part of my order was correct. It was such a waste of time. Our mother’s day breakfast was ruined.
I went to get food before work for lunch. They’re extremely slow always. I get to work opened my food my curry chicken had hair wrapped on it. I called immediately and let them know. I leave work after I clocked in to return this food. I walk in no apology or nothing she just gave me my refund and still no apology.I said ok let me get salt fish and dumplings. The woman proceeded to charge me full price for another meal. I said I came all the way back from work with this food . And you going to charge me full price for a fish and dumplings.That’s not customer service. I was really angry of the service I was rendered after having hair in my food. They lost a loyal customer.
