Best KPortal Reviews
I’m not even exaggerating when I say these were the best fried pickles I’ve ever had. They were not only huge in circumference, but they were thickly cut, and lightly fried, so it was the perfect amount of pickle and fried dough. With that being said, the food itself was delicious, and I’m glad I got to try an Illinois walleye. The pot roast was a lot of food, and delicious. Gotta try The Dublin Pub!
The reuben was amazing. Usually one or more of the ingredients is overpowering or underwhelming. Not here. Literally in every bite you could taste the entire sandwich. The onion rings were very good, but the dipping sauces they gave (ranch and honey mustard) were to die for. I never would have paired onion rings with honey mustard, and that would have been a mistake. It worked so well. The service was top notch, as well. I'm so glad we decided to finally try The Dublin Pub.
We had a family dinner with about 40 people. The staff was friendly and exceptional. We had to adjust the time and they were kind and flexible. Fried chicken and shepherd’s pie was delicious! We will be coming back when in Springfield.
Myself and 2 guests walked in Sunday afternoon, 4p. We waited 5 to 7 minutes for someone to come to the front of the house to seat us. I counted 4 to 5 servers, and we were seated in a room with 3 tables that were already set. We then waited 17 minutes, and no server came to our table. A 6 top entered and were seated, and their drink orders were taken immediately. Still, not one server acknowledged our table. We waited approximately 5 more minutes and then decided to leave, still without acknowledgment from any staff.
Pizza and the Horse Shoes are great. They also have a nice draft beer selection.
Dublin Pub customer service was great! I especially loved the pretzel with cheese, sweet potato fries and bourbon burger. Yum!
Outdoor seating was fine, but there was an employee who just finished their shift who proceeded to vape near my table. While a bit tougher to chew through than I would've liked, the walleye I ordered had decent enough flavor. Fries were good, too.
We had my daughters 21'st bday party here. It didn't cost extra to have the semi private area. The wait staff were very helpful and nice. Drinks were very good! Food was definitely different then where we lice so that was a nice treat. My daughter really liked the beer she had. It was very flavorful.
