I decided to order again and it was delicious, food was delicious full of flavour. Portions were just what you need.

If you looking for your Caribbean Takeaway or dine in. I fully recommend this one .
Thank you .
Popped in one early evening. Was not busy though delivery drivers were coming and going. They have a nice seating area with a large TV. I ordered the mixed box - which is a combo of 2 mains and a side. I went for the Curry Goat and Jerk Chicken, with Rice and Peas. I also ordered some plantain. Overall great food, not overally spicy just right. They had a selection of hot sauces should you need more heat. I did put a touch on the chicken.
As a vegetarian, Jamaican food offers limited options so is not usually a cuisine i’d regularly choose to have. However my curiosity got the better of me so I checked out The Drum.
Vegan Ital stew was a big portion, plenty of different veggie items (callaloo, pumpkin, yam, green banana), rice n peas, plantain and the fresh festivals were my favourite - firm on the outside and warm, soft on the inside. The jerk seasoning flavour in the stew came through and there was good heat without it being uncomfortable.
Lots of hot pepper sauces on display to help yourself. The owner even brought out complimentary coleslaw which was kind of them and tasted so good.
Perhaps a couple more veggie main options please.
Big up to The Drum
Wholesome, delicious food served with care. The soundtrack was banging and they have Encona hot sauce on the table. What more could you want?
I had a delightful experience at the Jerk Drum, a Jamaican restaurant. The staff warmly welcomed me and even offered me a complimentary serving of their delicious goat curry. I opted for the jerk chicken, and it was nothing short of immaculate, perfectly cooked, and served in generous portions. 11/10 experience.
Food isn't cooked to a high standard ???? for Jamaican people.
Any Jamaican person eats it will know what I mean!
No true Jamaican flavour in the food, don't sale ox tail ????.
Food is dead, service polite atmosphere decent.
Oh yeah, Cutlery was dirty had to ask for a clean knife and fork!
Don't think I'd eat there again, as I joy Authentic Jamaican cooking as I am from Jamaican back ground and can cook myself so why would I bother going to buy dead food when I can cook it 10, 20, 30 times better.
Also curry mutton had no bones ????.
The rice wasn't steamed in a pot, I think it was from one of those microwave rice's.
Food was a massive let down.
Came here for Lunch 30/5/23, Had the Curry goat and it was the best I've had, the meat fell apart in my mouth, beutiful sauce and rice and peas where also good, the coleslaw was 10 out of 10, just so tasty!!
Fast and freindly service, really lovely staff. Will definitely return. 100% 5 stars for this place and there staff.
The staff are very welcoming and the customer service is good. The curry goat, rice and peas is my personal favourite and I recommend it to anyone that is keen on trying out Jamaican dishes. Overall a great food spot to check out. 1010
