Great 50's style drive in.
Wonderful staff at this burger joint.
Very busy but the staff was incredible and attentive. All 3 burgers we ordered were very tasty, the fries were hot and cooked perfectly and having a frosty mug of root beer was amazing on a warm day. Keep up the hard work, you have an amazing thing going in Taylors Falls.
Before coming here, I read several reviews that the food wasn’t as good. But we’re here at can vouch this place doesn’t disappoint. Must try the cheese curds. My mushroom Swiss burger was excellent and so is my husband cheese burger. Glad we didn’t turn away because of the huge crowd! We will be back.
This place is so perfect when you’re in search of an old fashioned diner that hasn’t changed much. They started in the 1940s! They have amazing burgers and the root beer floats were so perfect!!! They also have mini golf!! I walked around the tiny course just for pictures and they didn’t tell me stop so that made me happy. Must come!!
Addy made our day today by cheerfully greeting us when we drove up. The food was great, service was over & beyond what we have received in many years. Thank you for a blast in the past, cheerful heart & smiling server. We felt so welcomed and left so satisfied. Fun place!!!!
Good food! Tons of flies and gnats biting us and crawling all over us and our food. Megan was a nice server. Cute uniforms for the female servers. Root beer is very sweet. Fun mini put course on site. Could use more than two bathroom stalls. Always long lines. Took a long time to get in and out for a late Sunday lunch.
Fun place, nice and clean atmosphere. Food is terrible, not bad; terrible. Service is average. $50 for 2 people for burgers and sodas. Root beer is very good. Stop for a root beer, but gas station food is better.
Fun, little restaurant. We were a little unsure of where to park but quickly figured it out. A server was at our car immediately. The menu offers a decent selection of food you'd expect at a drive-in. One of the people in our car was disappointed that chili dogs weren't on the menu.
The food took a tad longer than expected - two cars that parked after us got there food long before we did. But it wasn't a terrible wait.
The only negative I could say is that we watched a server spray bug spray on herself about 5 ft from the food service window and a car. The 3 of us in my car all noticed it and thought it would be better optics if she'd done this somewhere else.
The Drive Inn had some amazing fresh food. We loved the burgers and fries. Kids got a delicious cookie with their meals as well. You must try the root beer float! Icy and satisfying!
