Haven’t been here in over 10 years. I remember great burgers so finally decided to try it again. The loaded cheese fries were excellent. The buffalo shrimp was extra spicy but also hard to tell if the tails were left on or needed to be taken off inside the breading. The burger was ordered medium well like I do all burgers and it was dry and over cooked. Slightly disappointed with that. I expected better for a $17 burger. Server was friendly and quick. Might give them one more try in case it was a bad day.
Regrettably, my recent dining experience fell short of expectations. The spicy garlic wings lacked the punch and flavor I anticipated, leaving much to be desired compared to other pubs. The burgers, unfortunately, lacked any discernible taste – a simple addition of spices could greatly enhance their flavor profile. Furthermore, the fries arrived cold and soggy, further diminishing the overall enjoyment of the meal. Despite the commendable efforts of the friendly staff and the inviting cleanliness of the environment, there's a pressing need to elevate the culinary offerings. I sincerely urge the management to consider enhancing the menu with bolder flavors and ensuring that each dish leaves a lasting impression. With a little spice, you could truly shine.
We stopped in on a Saturday night and I found the atmosphere perfect. There was good, live, music that wasn’t so loud that I couldn’t talk to or hear my date.
The service was great and the burgers even better.
I love onion rings! And I’ll be getting them at Drake’s again hopefully soon
What a lovely restaurant!! We had soup and salad. My mom got the Lynette salad and I got the Greek salad with grilled chicken. So good and well seasoned as well!! the burgers looked delicious as well
A great place to grab a beer and the food is excellent here. I had the cheese steak egg rolls. they were amazing! The service is amazing and the staff are really nice. If you are in the jenkintown area I would highly recommend them.
The food was absolutely scrumptious . I came here due to seeing photos of the burgers and they sure are as tasty as they look. There was live music playing and the atmosphere was very lively. The menu has so many choices and definitely coming back when I have an appetite.While it took long for the food it was worth it.
Used to love this place. I used to think it was a solid place to go- if we could get a parking spot that is.
But this most recent dinner was terrible.
One thing after another. And thought maybe after speaking with manager, they might try to rectify the situation. But absolutely nothing was done. So customer service , just as terrible as our server was. Never came back for refills. Wrong order. And when we let her know, instead of owning that she got it messed up, started giving excuses and blaming us. Two of three meals came out (only one being the correct order) and the third one came out undercooked.
Do better, Drake.
The food was really good. The burger was huge! The crabcake salad was delicious. However, the service could've been better. Our server didn't come back to check on us after the meal was sent out in a timely manner. We had to ask another server to help us. All in all, we'd come back again.
