Best KPortal Reviews
1.Waiting over half an hour before we had to call a waiter over and another half hour before our starters arrived,
2. Mains were satisfactory although the waiter came looking to collect our plates even though all parties weren't finished.
3. We ordered off the menu with a set price for starters, mains and desserts and we are still waiting for the waiter to come and take our order for desserts.
4. Staff were having a great time at the bar not bothering about the clients whether we were OK or not.
5. Not a nice experience but as we were on holiday we can safely say we wouldn't be back.
6. The place has the makings if a good eatery however at this present moment changes would need to be made.
Really disappointed as we regularly come for tea & this had always been our place to come as a family. We had a table tonight booked for 25 guests, well was actually the back area so hired for £25. Deposit was paid for £5 a head which I totally understand but in theory this doesn’t work with a group this size when the girls are putting food down on one bill & drink down on another ! We are a large family who got together for a surprise 70th meal & we’re paying separately (4 separate people paying) which I don’t think was a big ask but this was made to be such an issue which actually put a massive damper on the night.
The deposit situation was just a pain coming off the bill when people were paying separately & there was a great attitude from the staff. I’ve never been to any restaurant where I have gone to pay and paid for my food and drink separately.
I can’t fault the food, the only thing I will say is one of the kids meals came out 20 minutes later than everyone else’s meals which isn’t ideal but again there was a lot of us and we understand this.
I don’t actually know what the £25 is for as you are paying £5 deposit per head and if anything we brought in a lot of people for a Thursday night.
Overall just really disappointed & I think staff can do with sorting the way they speak with customers. Simple things like asking who’s ordered a specific food, there was a lot of us & while we are working out who is having what, a female member of staff stood rolling her eyes.
On a positive note a male member of staff took the drink orders and he was amazing.
Excellent meals had for a party of 5.
Given ample time to choose for the menu and the half portions were more than adequate, and delicious.
Being the run up the Christmas there were numerous bookings and kept the staff on their toes and everyone was attended to and cleared up afterwards with efficiency.
A lovely time had
Amazing food, but some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Every time I’ve came here or ordered food from here, there’s always been an issue. First time I ordered collection from here they gave us someone else’s order and we had to go all the way back to change it had to wait another 30 mins for it to be fixed and also had to ask for some sort of compensation as we weren’t offered anything. Every time we’ve tried to book a table on the phone they’ve says there’s no space and we’ve went there to see and there’s been plenty of tables and we’ve asked for a table and they said there fully booked for the rest of the night although there is about 3 customers in the whole place. A second time we ordered online there was chips missing from our order. When I have phoned to place an order for collection they are rude on the phone, laughing and chatting in the background before they even say hello and while talking to a member a staff they were all chatting also, they speak over you when your talking and butt in. This place has amazing food but customer service really puts us off. Needs to be sorted as there’s an issue every time with them.
Just back from having our mum's 80th birthday meal here. Food was amazing and the bar staff were so attentive and kind. Thanks so much!!!!
First time ordered a carry out from here. Arrived 20 minutes before time given, by a luvly young lady. We ordered a mixed pakora starter and a calzone, all the food was very tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed it all. Recommend a visit / order carry out. Will use again, and hopefully visit. :) :)
Food was great .very tasty .staff were very freindly .kept asking if we needed anything else .only thing is the place is freezing .really need some heating on .
Lovely food . Services however we had to find staff so we could pay. We had to ask for cutlery .
We also never got asked if we wanted more drinks. Food was perfect though.
