I was sleptical about going because im a black girl but the owner Chris came to our table and made me feel so comfortable its a nice bar and the drinks are good.
Jess, the bartender, was amazing. My colleague Kevin took me to this spot for the first time after work... the wings were awesome. Can't wait to go back.
The Dog Saloon, more like the G.O.A.T. Saloon, because this place the greatest of all time! This isn't your run of the mill hole in the wall, The Dog has it all. This place is chalk full of good times, from billiards and darts to good music and chill vibes, The Dog offers much more than your typical sports bar. The food is phenomenal, and the world class bartenders make the finest drinks that pack a punch equivalent to a Floyd "Money" Mayweather haymaker. I can't stress enough the haymakers these bartenders can throw! Located in the heart of South Tampa, The Dog has a spacious interior, and a great patio with plenty of seating and a plethora of TVs showcasing all of night's big games. Adequate parking.
I tell you what this is the dive bar I see on every visit. Why the staff J &J and today we had Jess. Great person and the food..Highly recommend the steak and cheese... The ???? buffalo wings settled the animal appetite I had.....Man all night ???? you would need a crow bar to get me out of this spot...Love the ????

I was in town for a golf trip and we were looking for a relax place to have a couple of beers. Didn’t try any of the food, so I can’t speak on that but the bartenders were fast and efficient, always ensuring you were satisfied with you drink, even though it was pretty steady. Only down side, if you’re looking for an older crowd, this wasn’t the place. Seemed like a lot of young 21-25 year old kids being loud and obnoxious in the back by the pool tables. Other than that, pretty solid experience—definitely has the “dive bar” vibe…I’d go back
Fantastic grilled cheese sandwich! Cold beers and a great selection of them. Full bar, list of TVs, pool, darts, games... Tampa’s Best bartenders.
