Loved the Lemonade Slush!!
Stopped for a hotdog. Chicago dog. It was good. I prefer the neon green relish instead of regular and put on top instead of under the dog and not so much. Nice toasted bun.
Another guest was excited to try the Lobster Roll, she saw a review on facebook. I told the chef that several years ago I tried the "Best Lobster Roll" and found it to be very wet, watered down flavor. At that time, they just had the small cart and an ice chest. He said he has the only 5 star lobster roll in Jensen Beach.
I decided to try it again. There was a lot of lobster and mango salad in the roll but again it was very wet. The roll was soggy after just one bite. Fell apart. Even a toasted bun would not hold up to the juice.
I ate the rest of the lobster with a fork. This item would eat better as a lobster salad. Needed more mango and less chopped tomatoe and cukes that turn into flavorless water. Maybe offer Lobster Nachos, serve with mango salsa with hard chips instead of putting it on a soft roll.
Best lobster roll we’ve had in a very long time. We got the hot lobster roll and the Chicago style dog. Both were great! The food has also always been very consistent and tasty! Try them out and you won’t be disappointed!
Came here a few months ago and the lobster roll was delicious! It was filled with fresh buttery lobster.
Definitely worth the 1.5h drive.
I try to come here every chance I get! Honestly I’ve tried different lobster rolls and this is hands down the best of the best! I love this place.
Awesome place will be returning time and time again. We've done lunch and breakfast from there. Don't sleep on The Dog Pound. Def a go to spot for us!
me and my dad went to get the hot lobster roll, shrimp tacos, chili bacon cheese dog, conch fritters and bacon and lobster fries. food was excellent and came out in a good amount of time. definitely worth it 10/10
We went for lunch on our last day visiting. Should have gone earlier because it was great. I wanted a good lobster flavor without other distractions. The Hot lobster roll was excellent. The roll stayed toasted but soaked just enough of the butter to be flavorful without being soggy. The lobster was piled on with a little lemon, it was perfect. Would definitely come back for it and the other lobster rolls. Wife got the Chicago dog and really liked it also.
The food truck is clean and the staff is very nice. I got the chili Willie dog and wife got lobster ???? fries. They are not stingy with the meat. I spent about $26.00 on the meal. I really like the hotdog ????????????.
Best hot dogs in town, hands down, forget about the others. Everything we've tried from there has been amazing and we've tried quite a bit,. From their tacos, both burger and mahi sliders, pulled pork fries and the list goes on. Haven't had a bad experience yet, food atmosphere and staff all get 5 stars. Keep up the excellent work guys.
