Had a lovely few hours at D&P yesterday afternoon. 12 of us went for lunch before Uttoxeter races. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. The food was very good and great value. The group had a mix of sandwiches, fish and chips and pies, all very good.
It's nice to see a traditional pub bustling with punters and we felt very welcome. First time going here and now it'll be our go to ore races lunch spot.

We turned up without a booking on the first Sunday back open. The staff were really accommodating finding us a table for an hours time. It was worth the wait. Lovely little pub with roaring log fires and a cosy feel. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quantity and quality. Even better, the staff were attentive, helpful and friendly.
A fantastic, cosy pub with a lovely atmosphere. We visited for a drink as it was my other half's birthday. Children came along too. Lovely Bass beer on cask! No less than three fire places to keep warm and snug. The bar staff were friendly and attentive. It got really busy towards 18:30 ish and the atmosphere was lovely. Every table also got home cooked delicious chips, for free! Will definitely visit again.
Recently reopened under new management. Excellent local pub, one side for drinkers and the other for diners. New chef and menu....Excellent food. Beer choices are good and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
Came up from Crewe to meet family who were staying the weekend in this area. Had lunch today not realising it was a limited menu on Mondays but wow it was fantastic. Fab food, excellent value and a very friendly and efficient guy who looked after us. Highly recommend this pub.
Good to see Ahley again as he was until recently manager at The White Hart Uttoxeter. He has certainly got this place buzzing. I had the Belly Pork and it was simply delicious

Didn't eat so can't comment. The bar service & whole feel of the place is great. Live music most Sunday evenings. Will defo go again.
