Jay did an awesome job on my hair and my longer beard, took his time. Straight razor for the tight lineup. Listened to what I wanted and had a few tips that I took. Will definitely visit again.
There is not a better barber experience you can get within the Petersburg or surrounding areas. The level of detail, service, and classic barber experience is by far the best I have ever had and I have been looking for this type of service for YEARS. I will only be in the area for a few months and I will be hard pressed to find another barber like Jay.
For the military personnel at Ft. Gregg-Adams, this is where you want to go!
Jay took care of me. Best barber I’ve ever personally had. Some of the cleanest edges I’ve ever seen. I know a few of his other long term customer “10+ years” and they have done nothing but praise his work so much I had to give him a try. To say the least I will be back next week again! If you just want a haircut go to great clips if you want a real no jokes professional barber look no further and call him now. Very on top of his schedule which I appreciate!
After just moving to VA, Jay immediately hooked me up. There is a difference between being talented vs being disciplined, and there’s a major difference when someone is disciplined and talented, and he is the best of both worlds with major experience on his resume. He gave me the exact cut I was looking for and what would make the wife happy, and even went as far as giving me the knowledge to make my face appear slimmer and my beard looking neat. He has it down to a science and understands concepts that illustrate how we are perceived to others and how things affect the styling and basic haircut one could get.
Highly recommend and will be returning for a 2nd appointment in two weeks or so. ????????
Jay went above and beyond with both haircut and service. One of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. Extremely satisfied. Had a great conversation so the wait was not dull. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re trying to look like a new man!
