Made a last minute reservation for 5pm on New Year's Eve. For visit since it reopened as restaurant within The Red Lion. Lively deco , very clean , excellent welcome. Great menu with interesting Indian dishes as well as British and Italian food. We just had a starter and main course with side dishes and it was delicious. Full of delicate spices and not too hot , just right. A thoroughly delightful meal. The staff were attentive but not overbearing and served each dish with a broad smile , making us feel almost at home. The restaurant was fully booked from 7pm but they let us finish our drinks in the bar/ restaurant area up until we left at 7pm. What seemed like a boringly quite evening turned out to be just what we wanted. A return , with friends will be booked very soon. Highly recommended.
I've had food from The Dining Table a number of times over the past year. The food has been outstanding every time - even nicer than my previous favourite Indian restaurant. Very friendly staff there too. I adore the Punjabi Butter Chicken Curry they make. Very much looking forward to my next meal from there. ????
The restaurant is part of the Red Lion in Pendoylan. The Dining Table does interesting and tasty Indian food. Lovely surroundings and friendly staff. Keen to give advice and recommendations, and equally keen to find out your thoughts afterwards. This was our first time here, but it won't be our last.
Food excellent, service awful. Asked before booking, when we booked and when we ordered if they could do vegetarian gluten free food. Was told yes. Food arrived with chapati on plate and staff could not confirm it was gluten free, told us not to eat it to be sure! No one to greet guests on arrival. Table not ready. No room for wine bucket and no stand so wine sat on the floor. Very slow to take order / bring courses. Nan breads arrived as we took our last bite of the main meal. Food really was good quality and delicious but makhani didn’t have much sauce. Sadly we all came away very disappointed.
Ordered a takeaway which we collected and this place looks nice inside. It’s actually inside the pub so they have turned a room into an Indian restaurant. Order fulfilled on time but one item was incorrect which we obviously found out after getting home so that was annoying.
Food was excellent quality, great taste but expensive. £4 for rice?!?! Keema naan also lacking much meat. Curry’s good though
Excellent meal.
Staff very welcoming and friendly.
Best Indian meal we have experienced for a while.
Decor clean and modern.
Food is cooked to order, this is not a fast food restaurant.
Main meals take about 30 minutes, Tandoori 45 minutes.
All is worth waiting for.
Thank you Anwar.
We had a lovely meal here on the 1st Jan. The menu had some lovely Chef Specials and the onion naan bread was delicious. Next time we are in this are we will be definitely going back. For thos staying at the Vale resort its not far away sogive it a try. Oh and the entrance is the same entrance to the pub .
The best Indian we have had locally. Cooked to order and well worth the wait. Lovely service and very reasonably priced. You deserve to succeed. We will definitely return.
