Best KPortal Reviews
Among the numerous golf courses we've explored, the DeSoto Club remains our favorite.
It's not just the beautiful fairways and challenging holes that draw us back but also the exceptional amenities that make it stand out.
One highlight is the dining experience. The BLT at the DeSoto Club is a standout, consistently delicious and satisfying.
Accompanying it is the baked potato salad bar, which is widely regarded as one of the best deals in Hot Springs Village.
The quality and variety it offers make it a must-try for both locals and visitors.
The beverage options are another reason we frequent the DeSoto Club. The drinks are always served cold and are reasonably priced, providing great value. Whether you're enjoying a round of golf or just stopping by for a meal, the drink selection complements the overall experience perfectly.Equally impressive is the customer service. The staff at the DeSoto Club consistently delivers top-notch service, ensuring that every visit is enjoyable. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor make a significant difference, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps us coming back.Overall, the DeSoto Club offers a unique blend of excellent food, affordable drinks, and outstanding customer service. This combination, along with the beautiful golf course, makes it an unbeatable destination in Hot Springs Village. Whether you're an avid golfer or someone looking for a great place to dine and relax, the DeSoto Club is the place to be..
I had the duck it was delicious. My husband had pork belly. It was so tender just melted in his mouth.
This was my first time here from Iowa. My parents live in the village so we went there for dinner this Wednesday. We had some wonderful half priced wine and the pasta special was amazing! Julie was our server and she was so sweet and delightful. I had the pesto penne with chicken, my mom had the smothered chicken and my dad had the spaghetti & meatballs. Each dish was exceptional! There was also a bonus on Wednesday nights. JD sings every Wednesday and did a phenomenal job. Definitely will be coming back again!
Made brunch reservations and confirmed them, was upset when they sat us (a party of 5) at a small 4 top and brought a chair over so one of us was eating on the corner of the table. They had creamer sitting out to add to your coffee and it came out in clumps (see photo). There’s no hint as to what they offer at brunch buffet so I added a photo of my plate. They had a meat cutting station, the ham was very good. There is no waffle/ pancake or omelet station. Grits were amazing. Service was ok, we had 3 different servers come to us, I believe there was confusion. The piano man was wonderful.
Went to enjoy Taco Tuesday, great bargain, mini taco buffett, all you can eat 5.00, half price beers. Downside, wish they had hardshells as well, meat was room temperature, so by the time you add cheese, pico de gallo, etc. it was cold.
The food was pricey. It was average and nothing special.
The service was excellent all around.
The atmosphere. A nice open restaurant with a view out across the golf course that was remarkable.
The bar was not well stocked. I had to select twice before I got an available beverage.
Sunday BRUNCH BUFFETT Review.
Wow. Now that hit ???? the spot ????. The sliced roast beef on the buffett was divine and my favorite. They even had mahi mahi which had a very good flavor. The all you can eat buffett is $22 a person but includes your non alcoholic drinks. Mimosas are $3 each and my wife had one. The service was fast as they took your empty plates and refilled your drinks as quickly as they could.
Our waitress was fantastic. Have had her before and she always does a great job. Can't remember her name but she has blondish hair and I think she might be the only blonde waitress there.
