Beautiful location very close to the airport with free transportation! The staff is incredible and decor is above and beyond. We had a delicious meal at the Italian restaurant and the service was beyond what we expected! The room itself was immaculate, from the small details to the help from a lovely woman with dark hair at the desk in the morning. The housekeeping staff was also impressive, always smiling faces and really seems they all enjoy being there and take pride in their work. Especially Jewel and the blond woman who helped us with extra amenities and even local directions! Could not get over how beautiful this place really is and how much care is put into every single detail. The main bathrooms were our favorite part! So inventive and interesting, as well as spotlessly clean! Breakfast was conveniently right in the lobby, although not included. 100% will come back!
The rooms had very nice decor. The bedding was clean along with the linens and shower. Only complaint I have is that we could hear every creak and footstep the upstairs guests made. Walls are very thin. Good location. Walking distance from gas stations and fast food. Coffee shop just down the road, serves delish coffee
The staff at this hotel were exceptional! Sonny was so helpful and so friendly. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are quite spacious. The bar area is perfect, not overly bright and a lovely atmosphere, the staff were also friendly.
The only complaints would be the bathroom shower doors leak water all over the floor, walls are super thin so you can hear people talking in the next room and the pillows are very big and fluffy, would be nice have a couple smaller pillows for sleeping.
I would highly recommend this hotel and would go back to enjoy the spa!
do not recommend the Delavan hotel and Spa!!! When I was choosing a hotel, cleanliness was a priority, and when I found it, I knew it was a good hotel based on the stars and reviews... But what I saw was so disgusting to me that it was in this room! First of all, when I entered the room, it was not fresh, there was a rotten smell, secondly, there was a used condom lying near the bed, and crumbs, there were a couple of stains on the bedclothes, and when I covered myself, someone else's hair got on my body, fuuuu, I was so disgusted I can't tell you, it feels like no one cleaned after the previous residents!!!! I have never felt so disgusting, I did not imagine such a thing from a hotel with four stars!!!
Hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. The Seafood restaurant is beautuful but the food was pricey for the amt and quality of the food you got. Steak sandwich was served on a roll no bigger than a hot dog bun. Dessert choices were terrible. Salted Carmel choc chip cookies were very salty. Breakfast was a la carte. For the price of the room it should have been included though a $10 voucher was given toward it.
First let me start by say that the front desk staff was great. He was polite and did his best to accommodate us.
Our first room was very dirty the pillows had make up and hair all over . It seems like the linen was not changed from the previous guest. The bathroom was dirty and the chairs and floor had food. We went to the front desk within twenty 10 minute from arriving to to our first room. The gentleman was very nice and changed our room for us to 419 that wasn’t any better . The pillows still had little brown stains on them and hair on the bed and pillows . The window sill was dirty and the shower had course black hair all over the walls. The bathroom walls were dirty . There were stains on the bathroom walls and also on the walls in the room . Very disappointing I book this hotel because it had a 4.5 stars . The wall was paper thin we could hear the guest next door and they could hear us .
You will truly be blessed if you ever check in and Sonny is there to welcome you with his wonderful bright personality. He is always friendly and most helpful. I truly look forward to my visit as Sonny and his awesome glasses and excellent personality is there to greet me in this great Hotel and Spa. A HUGE shout out to management stating they have a real gem to represent guest to The Delevan Hotel in Buffalo NY area. Happy to write this review. Rm 213.????
This is a lovely hotel, staff very friendly. Clean and nice atmosphere. Felt safe. We unfortunately encountered a few maintenance issues in our room. But rooms are very comfortable. Did not hear much from other rooms or in hallways.
