Best KPortal Reviews

The food was good. The prices are spot on. I had the chicken fried steak and it was hot n crispy. The gravy was just the right thickness. My wife had the avocado toast dish. This dish was fine but there was mold on the sour dough bread. We brought it up to the young man who took our order and he did a bit of arguing
about how it wasn't. We showed him and he said it was from the grill stain but it's toast I replied. He also pushed back a little when we requested it be redone. We said just the toast not the whole plate. I also let him know we didn't want to argue over it. They redid the plate but he also came out with the loaf of sourdough bread they used and still argued about the bread. The place was clean but not inviting. 3 stars is for the food and the missing 2 stars is for the customer service.
The food looked so good in reviews that we had to try this place. We drove an hour plus to eat lunch here just because of the reviews. The customer service was great the food looked amazing when it came out BUT and that's a huge but. The food was NOT as amazing as what it looked like. It was mediocre at best. The best meal was the meal my husband had Ranchero breakfast. The cinnamon roll French toast was dry and tasted nothing like cinnamon rolls which was a huge disappointment. If your looking for good service with fair prices this place is your place but if you want to try something new and exciting this isn't your place. Very mundane and nothing original. Not a bad place though just not the best
Nice little breakfast/ lunch place. I don't know that I would take a, large group or family here as it appears they just don't have the space to accommodate larger groups without a wait. We were a party of two so got right in.
Good food, decent service, decent prices. We'd definitely go back again.
First time here! 3.8-4 stars ....
Nice little place and the food was good. Service was good too.
We had the eggs Benedict, veggie omelette, and a kids pancake.
Pros: omelette wasn't over cooked, which I'm usually afraid of cause I hate overcooked scrambled eggs. The side red potatoes were probably the best thing; get them instead of the hash browns. Kids smiley face pancake was good and I appreciated the effort to make it special.
Cons: coffee was very underwhelming. Poached eggs were over cooked. Hash browns were good but there weren't a lot of them... Not that I need a lot, but I love a thick layer of hash browns with crispy a top and bottom. Should have gone for the red potatoes.
My favorite meal of the day is brunch and I am always down to try something new in Gilbert. I saw the reviews online and had try this place. I had a Birria Benedict. The meat had a good flavor, but is not what I expect as far as birria. It was loaded with potatoes which had a slight kick, but bland. I am also picky when it comes to pancakes and am constantly trying to find a place that makes a really good pancake (so far it’s Butterfields in Scottsdale) so I gave theirs a try. A bit rubbery, but had an okay taste to it. The staff was super friendly and the food came out pretty quick. I wouldn’t come back again, but at least I gave it a shot. The costs for what was served and the overall taste was not worth it for me (coffee in a small cup $3.75, one pancake $3.25). It is just not for me.
First of all this place is great quality and very friendly. The owner Manny has a great old school mindfulness of speaking with his guest which always makes a customer feel welcome and appreciated. The server was also very attentive and friendly with a great smile making for a very comfortable experience. The dining area is small and very comfortable. Quality product. The food was well portioned which made me feel like I got a great value for my money. Also it was fresh and well seasoned and the order was prompt. I have been to many breakfast places and this place surpassed my expectations in almost every category. Please if you have the chance I would highly recommend for yourself or family and friends. Enjoy.
My favorite breakfast place that I’ve tried since I’ve lived here! Went around 10 am on a Tuesday and there was no wait. Very low key place, so it’s fine if you look like you just rolled out of bed lol. I got the chicken fried steak, biscuit and gravy, hashbrowns, and eggs. Everything was delicious. Hashbrowns were similar to Waffle House but tasted even better. Most places serve a giant plate of biscuits and gravy, but I like that this came with a little bit of everything! My boyfriend got the Oreo pancakes and he loved them. They weren’t on the menu but they were written on a sign on the wall.
10/10 recommend this little breakfast place ???????? ????
I decided to go out of my comfort zone and tried the “Tropical French Toast: cream cheese and mango stuffed French toast, topped with mango and toasted coconut”
It was probably the best thing I’ve ever had to be honest ????????????
We also had things like scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and sausage links which were all pretty good as well!
